💬 "Not knowing what to expect, I was apprehensive. I was allocated a support worker, Rob, who was a great help throughout my journey. I have regularly attended appointments and attended meetings. Rob made me comfortable and at ease. He was able to help me discuss my problems."

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re taking a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution of our volunteers here at Telford STaRS!

Our volunteers play such a big role within the service, offering their time, compassion, and support to help others on their journey. Many of our volunteers also bring invaluable lived experience, helping to create understanding, trust, and hope for those accessing support. This knowledge, as well as their kindness and dedication, makes a real difference every day.

From everyone at Telford STaRS, we would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you. We are truly grateful for everything you do – we simply couldn’t do this without you.

Today is and we're sharing a quote from someone who has accessed our service.

💬 "When I first started my anxiety was low, I was having issues leaving my house, working closely with deb, I've learnt new coping skills and different strategies on dealing with my anxiety to keep it at a more manageable level. Debs helped me feel a bit more confident about more future and not letting my anxiety hold me back."
