We got our hands dirty, we also spent time chatting about gardening, sharing memories, tips, and favourite plants.
Gardening is a wonderful way to encourage social interaction, learn new skills, and enjoy the outdoors.

We can't wait to watch our strawberries and potatoes grow over the coming weeks! 🌿💚

🎳 A Wonderful Day of Friendship and Fun! 🎳

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic trip to Walsall on Tuesday to visit a fellow Exemplar home for an exciting afternoon of bowling. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, build new friendships, and share plenty of laughter along the way.

A big thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and friendly competition. We look forward to meeting again soon for more memorable experiences together!

🌱🥕Its Allotment Week🥕🌱

Our little garden is coming to life 🌿💚

We've got carrots growing,and lettuce 🥬and a few mystery plants that have decided to make an appearance too 😆🌱

It's lovely watching our little garden develop and seeing the residents get involved,getting their hands in the soil and keeping an eye on what's growing.

Who knows what we shall discover next. . .👀🌱

We've been cooking up a storm here this week at Woodside place with some of our service users cooking their own breakfast and their own evening meal. A homemade Chinese style chicken curry, thoroughly enjoyed by Rob and giving food envy to staff and fellow service users ☺️🍳🥘🫓

Wednesday's at Woodside Place is 'Breakfast Club' creating a lovely start to the day 🥐🥓🍳🥣

Our Service Users enjoyed a relaxed morning together with a delicious cooked breakfast provided by our fantastic catering team, pastries, juice and cereals too!

🧘‍♀️Mindful Monday at Woodside Place 🧘‍♂️

Today marked the start of our brand new Chair Yoga sessions, and what a wonderful way to begin the week 💚

Residents enjoyed taking the time to stretch, relax and focus on their wellbeing in a calm and supportive environment. Chair yoga is a fantastic way to improve flexibility, balance and mobility, while encouraging mindfulness and relaxation.

We're looking forward to making this a regular part of our week and cant wait to see everyone again next monday!

🌱OUR LITTLE GARDEN IS GROWING...and quickly🌱

After just ONE week there's been some exciting progress within the Gardening Club!

As our seedlings have continued to grow,they've now been carefully transplanted into larger pots to give their roots more room to thrive.🌞🪴

Residents have loved watching the tiny seeds transform into healthy young plant's ,and it's been wonderful to see everyone getting involved in nurturing them along the way.Every watering can,every conversation, and every new sprout brings a real sense of achievement.

We're looking forward to seeing how they continue to flourish over the coming weeks.Keep an eye on our page for more garden updates - we can't wait to share their progress.🌻🥕🍅

🪴Our Gardening Club is Blooming! ☀

Last weekend ,our gardening club got their hands dirty planting a wonderful variety of seeds and bulbs-and look at the progress already! 🍃

We're excited to see the first signs of life as our:
🌻Sunflowers
🌿Parsley
🌱Coriander
🥬Lettuce
🥕Carrots
🪷Flowers
........are all beginning to grow !

Gardening is a fantastic way to encourage teamwork,patience and wellbeing,and it's been wonderful watching everyone take pride in nurturing our little our little garden.

We cant wait to watch everything continue to flourish over the coming weeks just intime for Augusts Allotment Week.

Thursday We celebrated one of our amazing service users Dan,
He had started a brand new role within the home,Helping our senior team on the Ironbridge Unit with the tea trolley twice a day!🫖🍪
He absolutely smashed his first shift,We think he makes a rather glamorous Trolly Dolly dont you?

Having meaningful roles like this helps build confidence ,independence amd a real sense of purpose,and we're so proud of Dan for taking on this new responsibility.

Well Done Dan - we're all so proud of you.
