This week, 18-24th May, is Dementia Action Week. The Alzheimer's Society are continuing to work to raise awareness of dementia, and bring people together to try and beat dementia by providing support to those in need, raising funds for research and campaigning to ensure dementia is the priority it needs to be.
💙We wear our Forget Me Not for all those clients and families we support whose lives are affected by dementia
💙We work to provide care and support that can enable those living with dementia to enjoy a quality of life, and maintain as much independence as possible at home
💙We support Dementia Friends by offering free Dementia Friends Information Sessions within the community
💙We support, signpost and share valuable information with family members to help them understand what its like to live with dementia, and access support for themselves and their loved one living with dementia
