Our clients often ask us why we use Bocouture rather than Botox for our anti-wrinkle treatments.

Whilst Bocouture and Botox both contain botulinum toxin, Bocouture contains only the active neurotoxin molecule and no complexing proteins. This lowers the risk of antibody formation and is more suitable for long term, repeated use. It also has a lower risk of allergic reactions, making it a good choice for patients with sensitivity concerns.

Bocouture has a predictable diffusion giving it consistent spread in tissues with a reputation for high precision, especially in small facial muscles. This produces a slightly softer, more natural looking result which lasts a similar duration to Botox (3-4 months). Bocouture also has the advantage of not needing to be refrigerated prior to reconstitution which reduces the chances of a cold chain error and ensures we deliver a high quality product every time.
