I mean, I know it’s my job to sort out peoples feet. But, it really does mean a lot when someone tells you you’ve fixed a problem for them and helped their life. ♥️
Some days I plod along feeling I don’t do anything to help people.
Mrs C came into see me as her heel was sore due to a wound. Within 2 weeks we had sorted the problem and we now keep an eye on the area and make sure the same things doesn’t happen again. The patient visited the gp and walk in centres for week to no avail.

So I’m grateful to have this opportunity to help and save limb at the same time

NHS England reported 3,890 ingrown toenails presented at A&E last winter. Podiatrists are the experts in foot and lower limb care and can provide specialist care for ingrown nails, including minor surgery to resolve them. Check with your local NHS for podiatry access criteria or find your nearest private podiatrist at https://rcpod.org.uk/find-a-podiatrist and save A&E for the critical care.
