✨ Another Fun‑Filled Day at Thurlaston Meadows ✨
Our residents enjoyed another wonderful day packed with creativity, laughter, and delicious surprises.
The morning began with 💪 energising exercise, getting everyone moving, stretching, and smiling together.
After that, the lounge turned into a cosy creative hub with 🎨 colouring and 🧩 word searches, keeping minds busy and imaginations flowing.
Soon the tables were covered in colours and ribbons as residents got stuck into 🎀 making bunting, chatting away while creating bright decorations for the home.
This afternoon brought something extra special — our 👨‍🍳 Chef’s Taster Session.
Our chef prepared a selection of pizzas: 🍕 Margherita, 🍍 Hawaiian, ⚪ Bianca, and more.
Residents had great fun guessing which pizza was which, tasting each slice and sharing their favourites — lots of laughter and plenty of empty plates!
And to top off the day, we celebrated a 🎉 big happy birthday for one of our wonderful residents — smiles all around, a lovely sing‑along, and of course 🎂 cake.

Thurlaston Meadows — Our Residents’ Story ✨
Over the past two days, our residents have been busy enjoying every moment together.
They kicked things off with 💪 morning exercise, stretching, laughing, and lifting the mood for the day ahead.
Creativity soon took centre stage with 🎨 card making and 🧵 crafts, where colourful designs and cheerful chatter filled the room.
Then came the fun and games — 🎲 floor games sparked friendly competition, and our 📱 tiny table sessions gave everyone a chance to explore some tech in a relaxed, social way.
A peaceful pause followed with 🧘 Wellness Weekly, offering calm breathing, gentle movements, and a lovely reset.
But the quiet didn’t last long — the lounge soon burst into life with 🎶💃 music & dance, where residents swayed, tapped, twirled, and sang along, filling the home with joy and infectious energy.
That musical buzz carried straight into 🎶 choir practice, blending voices, smiles, and toe‑tapping rhythms.
To finish, the group headed outside for 🌿 gardening club, tending plants, sharing tips, and enjoying the fresh air together.
Two days full of movement, creativity, music, laughter, and togetherness — just how our residents love it.

A Lovely Day at Thurlaston Meadows! 🎨🌞💛
We got off to a great start this morning as Sketch Club got underway with Georgina — everyone was excited to pick up their pencils again after a short summer break! ✏️🎨✨
Afterwards, we said a friendly hello to our Residents of the Day 👋💛 before enjoying a tasty spot of lunch together 🍽️😊
The afternoon was full of fun and fresh air:
📱🎮 Tiny tablet games brought plenty of giggles
🎲😄 A few lively games kept everyone smiling
🌿🚶‍♀️ Peaceful walks in the garden and around the village
🎤🎶 And to finish, a joyful little sing‑song — the perfect end to a lovely day!

Weekend Highlights for Our Wonderful Residents! 🌞💛
A fantastic couple of days filled with movement, games, laughter and plenty of smiles!
💪 Morning exercise
We started with stretches, upbeat music and lots of positive energy — a brilliant way to kick off the day!
🚶‍♀️🌿 Walk around the village
Fresh air, sunshine and friendly chats as we enjoyed a peaceful stroll through beautiful Thurlaston.
📱🎮 Tiny tablet games
Residents loved tapping, matching and exploring fun mini‑games — small screens, big smiles!
🎲🧩 Floor games
From giant puzzles to floor challenges, everyone got stuck in — teamwork, laughter and a bit of friendly competition!
🧠❓ Quiz time
A lively quiz full of quick thinking, cheering and plenty of fun — brains and banter all the way!
💛 A weekend full of joy, connection and community — just perfect.

What a brilliant day we’ve had so far — full of movement, fresh air, smiles and a little bit of disco magic!
We kicked things off with our morning exercise session, stretching, laughing, and getting everyone energised for the day. Then we headed out for a lovely walk in the village, enjoying the sunshine and chatting with neighbours along the way.A little craft time.
After that, it was time for a browse at the Little Meadows shop — always a favourite stop! 🛍️
And to top it all off, we joined Anya Court for their fabulous Dementia Disco! 💃🕺
Huge thank you to the wonderful team at Hallmark Anya Court Luxury Care Home for inviting us — our residents had an amazing time and danced their socks off! ❤️

🎁 Gift of Years – Yesterday’s Highlights & Today’s Adventures! 🎨🐴☕🍰
Yesterday we enjoyed our lovely Gift of Years celebration — full of smiles, stories and warm moments 💛✨.
This morning began with energising exercise 💪😄 to get everyone moving, followed by our colourful Pumpkin Painting Project 🎃🎨. Lots of creativity, laughter and bright autumn vibes!
Then we headed out to Willoughby Park Equestrian Centre 🐎🌿 to see the horses and friendly animals. The residents loved the peaceful surroundings and gentle nature of the visit.
And of course… we finished with a cheeky cuppa and cake ☕🍰😉 — the perfect treat to round off a lovely outing.

Another wonderfully busy day at Thurlaston Meadows 💛
We began with morning exercise followed by some fun games, before everyone pitched in with a bit of housekeeping to start the day right.
After lunch, residents enjoyed Wellness Weekly, complete with word searches and a lively quiz. Then our fabulous singer Sarah Jayne filled the afternoon with music 🎤✨
We headed out to the kitchen garden and Bloom Room for a spot of gardening 🌿🌸 before winding down in the library for some peaceful quiet time.

What a busy and brilliant day at Thurlaston Meadows — our veteran‑friendly home 🇬🇧🎖️💛
Our residents headed out for an exciting trip to the Tank, Trucks & Firepower Show 🚛🔥💥. They loved seeing the vehicles up close, hearing the engines roar, and soaking up the atmosphere — plenty of smiles, memories and proud moments all round 😊✨.
Back home, we squeezed in a quick and lively game of bingo 🎉🔢 before winding down with refreshing mocktails in The Mews Bar 🍹😄. The perfect mix of adventure, fun and relaxation for our wonderful residents.

What a busy and brilliant weekend for our lovely residents! 🌞💛
We kicked things off with morning exercise 🏋️‍♀️😄, followed by Arts & Crafts 🎨✂️ where creativity was flowing. We then enjoyed a wonderful visit from Ildikó, bringing uplifting samba 💃✨ and calming meditation 🧘‍♀️🌿 that everyone adored.
In the afternoon, residents relaxed with a drink at The Mews Bar 🍹😊. We even squeezed in some spot gardening 🌱🌼, gathering fresh crops from our kitchen garden ready for our chefs to work their magic 👩‍🍳🥕🍅.
And to top it all off, our veterans are already excited for tomorrow’s big outing — a trip to the Tank, Trucks & Firepower Show 🚛🔥💥. A day full of memories, pride and plenty of smiles ahead 🇬🇧🎖️✨
