Ive not posted for a while as its been very busy at EquineCoach, my other arm of what I do.

But this evening I was back to where I first started, with a canine Reiki session.

What a lovely boy 🥰

A general well-being to start and work on a couple of energy centers needing some support.

I had an interesting session this week with Frosty's Vet Physio.

He wanted to to see and understand how Reiki works with equines, so he popped over and we spent a lovely couple of hours discussing energetic vibration, how emotions cause physical issues, how we can work 'nervous system' to 'nervous system' and much more.

We discussed examples of where I have attended an equine session and picked up energetic blocks that are effecting the physical and whilst I worked on the energetical, a physio worked on the physical. Its always good to work side by side.

Our Olly at EquineCoach was a brilliant demo pony for us and we discussed how Jack could see the changes in Olly's muscle tension and posture as I worked.

This is an example of where a 'scientific' brain and a 'somatic energy' approach came to together to 'chew the cud'.

We can all work in parallel and support each others expertise and understanding for the good of the animal.

Thank you Jack for wanting to understand what we do and being open but also challenging, I very much enjoyed it.

Frosty was very much the catalyst for this session. Jack has worked with him for over 18 months now and has learned to understand Frosty's very clear communication and just how you need to be energetically when working in his space. I just love that Jack has simply fallen into the habit of talking direct to Frosty and understanding his answer :-)

An afternoon spent with a mare to support with anxious energy. Gentle work to start with trust. Solar plexus and throat were her no go areas today.
Honest girl who moved between wanting support and uncertainty.
Moving away and then coming back.
Its important to allow them a voice and to be heard as part of trust building.
Some excersises for her human to continue support over coming weeks.

Its been a while since I updated on the work with my sister and Gizmo, her rescue dog who was completely overwhelmed with life and creative to the point of biting.

Gizmo is much more settled and many of his patterns are no more.

He hasn't bitten in over 6 months. He is more confident and has learned to play.

Working on ourselves and understanding our energy effects our animals is just as important as understanding them.

They go hand in hand.

Its much nicer to visit my sister these days 😁

I had the pleasure of revisiting a yard today, following Reiki sessions a couple of weeks ago.

At the time one of the horses presented something missing in the gut.

We discussed herbal options and I offered to bring some of our herds herbs to try with him.

We ended up offering self selection to several of the horses who showed interest.

What a lovely afternoon.

Note, this is not a service I offer, its was simply sharing knowledge based on how we offer self selection of herbs at Kindred Spirits - Equine Track System for our herd.

I am able to recommend someone should there be interest.

My post is to highlight how something bought up by our animals in a Reiki session can be explored.

Jack, who was the horse who presented something missing in the gut, self selected key herbs that were all detox and gut related, ignoring others. He can now benefit from the support that nature can provide.

His human has a shopping list I believe 😄

An afternoon spent with these 4 beautiful boys and their humans.

Thank you for inviting me 🙏
Lovely people doing the best for their Equine companions, such a peaceful spot.

Each horse requested something very different.

As is often the case, conversation turns to the human and what they are carrying that is reflected in their animals.

This is where the work I do with EquineCoach crosses over with my Reiki work and I can offer a more complete session for human and horse.

Understanding us and what we need to change has a powerful effect on our equines.

Such open people yesterday.

Tea and biscuits were very much appreciated too 😁

Lots learned as well as a lot of releasing from all the boys.
