We were delighted to represent the European Rolfing® Association at Munich Fascia Day 2026, hosted by the Clinic for Internal Medicine, Naturopathy and Homeopathy Munich Harlaching (KfN).
The well-attended conference brought together healthcare professionals, therapists and fascia experts for an interdisciplinary exchange on fascia research, clinical practice and therapeutic approaches.
A particular highlight for us were the contributions of Prof. Dr. Robert Schleip, Director of the Fascia Research Group at TUM and Research Director of the European Rolfing® Association, and Dr. Peter Schwind, Certified Advanced Rolfing® Instructor. Across three presentations, they shared their expertise in fascia research, fascia-oriented therapies and the concept of Dr. Ida Rolf’s Structural Integration.
The programme was enriched by Dr. Robert Schmidt, Medical Director and Head Physician at Krankenhaus für Naturheilweisen, and Heidi Martin, dietitian and nutrition specialist at KfN, whose presentations broadened the discussion with valuable clinical and nutritional perspectives on fascia health.
We also enjoyed many inspiring conversations at the European Rolfing® Association stand and were pleased by the strong interest in Rolfing® Structural Integration and professional Rolfing® training. A special thank you goes to Certified Advanced Rolfer® and physician Dr. med. Alexandra Haugg, who supported the ERA stand and contributed her expertise to many engaging conversations throughout the day.
A sincere thank you to the team at KfN for the excellent organisation, warm hospitality and outstanding collaboration. Events like this create important opportunities for dialogue between scientific research, clinical practice and structural bodywork approaches - and remind us how much can be gained when different disciplines come together around a shared interest in human health and wellbeing.
