Our residents loved spending time with these adorable visitors, sharing cuddles, smiles, and learning about the incredible work guide dogs do to support people with visual impairments.

🌳☀️ Celebrating Eat Outside Day! ☀️🌳

Eat Outside Day is an unofficial holiday that encourages people to enjoy a meal in the fresh air, whether in a backyard, park, café terrace, or any open space. It brings together the simple pleasures of outdoor time, good food, and shared company, recalling a tradition that dates back to early humans dining under open skies.

Over centuries, outdoor eating evolved from medieval hunting feasts and rustic field meals to picnics, beer gardens, and patio dining, blending nature with the joy of sharing food.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, making the most of the fresh air, and of course, the opportunity to enjoy refreshments outdoors.

Bonjour from Tonbridge House! 🥐🛳🥂

As part of our World Food Cruise, residents were transported to France for a delicious culinary adventure. To make the experience even more special, we tied the event in with our French lessons led by Isabel, who joined residents to enjoy the authentic French-inspired menu.

The food and accompanying cocktail was such a hit that Isabel declared it was "better than I could make myself!" High praise indeed from a French native! 😊

It was wonderful to see residents sharing stories, practising their French and enjoying a taste of France together. 🥐🛳🥂

Our residents recently enjoyed a lovely minibus trip to Brookside Garden Centre, where they spent the morning exploring the beautiful displays, browsing the shops and soaking up the vibrant colours of the plants and flowers. 🌸🌿
