I really struggle to pause myself but I really notice the difference when I do.
That tricky problem that has been ruminating in your head can get solved.
That anxiety held in your chest can dim down.
That foggy brain can perk up.
Why can something so simple bring such amazing changes?
By balancing our breath, we balance our nervous system, we give it a break, to rest, to calm down. Our nervous system is very energy intensive so pausing it for just a few moments can allow the body to reset and recharge.
