9 years married 🧔

9 years of marriage, two beautiful boys 🧔🧔one beautiful girl 🐾 so many adventures, plenty of laughs, a few ups and downs, and a whole lot of memories.

Life definitely isn’t always perfect, but I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. Thank you for being my best friend, my partner in everything, and the person I get to share this crazy life with.

Here’s to 9 years of marriage, and hopefully many, many more adventures together, and falling in love over and over again with every version of us 🧔

Happy 9th wedding anniversary my love. I love you more than you know Matt Jackson

If anyone is walking on Haldon today, please keep your eyes out for Luna.

She has been missing for two days and her owners are worried sick.

If you are able to share this to help spread the word I’d really appreciate it.

Let’s bring Luna back today ā¤ļø

Last night felt a little bit magical. šŸŒ™

Watching the eclipse, I actually cried.

And if you know me, you’ll know... I NEVER cry.

But standing there looking at the moon made me think about my Grandma.

My Grandma was my hero, my inspiration, my queen.

Whenever something good happened, she was the person I wanted to tell. Whenever something wasn’t so good, she was the person I went to see.

She was one of those people who just made life feel better.

She loved like no other. Everyone was welcome, always. She could brighten any room, her laugh was infectious, her food was delicious and time spent with her was always full of fun.

And she loved the moon. šŸŒ™

For as far back as I can remember, it’s been Grandma’s moon.

She loved its beauty and its magic, and because of her, I think I always will too.

It’s strange because I don’t feel sad that she’s gone, it was her time 🧔 But gosh, do I miss her like crazy.

Whenever I do start to feel upset, I can almost hear her telling me not to be sad and to remember all the happy times instead and to get a class of wine and celebrate, rather than feel sad.

Grief is funny like that.

How can somebody who was once so physically present suddenly not be here?

And yet, somehow, they still are.

She’s in me.

She’s in the way I welcome people, the way I try to see the good in things, the importance I put on making memories and probably in a thousand other little parts of me I don’t even realise came from her.

Maybe that’s what a legacy really is.

Not what you owned or achieved, but how people felt when they were around you and the pieces of you they carry forward when you’re gone.

Last night reminded me just how much of her I still carry with me.

And I hope that one day, when my time comes, the people I love will think of me even half as fondly as I think of her.

Until then, I’ll keep looking up at Grandma’s moon.

And I’ll always smile. šŸŒ™
