☀️ Sun, songs, and sundaes! What a perfect afternoon! 🍦🍔

We had the absolute best time today at our backyard BBQ! The sun was shining, the burgers were sizzling, and the smiles were endless.

A massive thank you to the incredibly talented Emily, who treated us all to some amazing singing. Her beautiful voice had everyone tapping their feet, singing along, and even doing a little dancing in their seats! 🎶✨

To top off a wonderful day, we cooled down with some delicious ice cream—the perfect sweet treat to end a perfect afternoon. 🍨❤️

🎨 Crafting with Love! 🧵

Our residents have been busy getting creative this week, and we are so excited to show off their latest masterpiece: beautiful, homemade coasters!

From picking out the perfect colors to putting on the finishing touches, everyone had a blast bringing these to life. Not only do they look amazing, but they’re already being put to good use protecting our tables during morning coffee and tea time. ☕️👇

🌸 Blossoming into a beautiful morning! 🌸

Today, our residents tapped into their inner florists for a wonderful morning of flower arranging. The activity room was filled with the incredible scents of fresh roses, lilies, and carnations—and even brighter smiles!

Activities like this are more than just fun; they are a fantastic way for our residents to practice fine motor skills, stimulate sensory memories, and express their creativity.

From bright and bold centerpieces to delicate bedside bouquets, everyone created something truly unique to brighten up their rooms. 💐✨

🍦 🏆 SUNSHINE, SMILES, AND SPORTS DAY SUCCESS! 🏆 🍦

What an absolutely fantastic day we had here at Inglefield for our annual Resident & Staff Sports Day! 🏃‍♂️🏅

From fierce (but friendly!) competitions to lots of cheering and laughter, everyone brought their A-game. Our residents showed us all how it’s done, and the staff certainly gave it their all, too!

The team spirit was truly unmatched.
To top off a perfect afternoon, we had a very special visit from Wight Ices! 🚚💨 Everyone treated themselves to a delicious Mr. Whippy ice cream (with a flake, of course!) to cool down after all that hard work. 🍦✨

A massive thank you to our amazing activities team, our wonderful staff, and most importantly, our incredible residents for making today so memorable.

🐾❤️ LOOK WHO’S BACK! ❤️🐾

Our hearts are absolutely full today! The wonderful Cooper the therapy dog made a surprise return visit to and safe to say, he brought a whole lot of joy, wagging tails, and smiles along with him.

From extra belly rubs in the lounge to quiet, gentle moments bedside, Cooper knew exactly who needed some extra love today. It’s amazing how a four-legged friend can bring back so many fond memories and completely brighten up the room.

Our residents (and staff!) have missed him so much, and we're pretty sure Cooper missed all the extra treats and attention, too! 😉

Thank you to Cooper and his wonderful handler for bringing so much light into our home. Come back soon, buddy! 🐾

🌍✈️ PACK YOUR PASSPORTS! We’re taking a culinary trip around the world today! ✈️🌍

Our residents are turning into global foodies this afternoon for a delicious round of "Global Foods Around the World" Bingo! From Italian gelato and Japanese sushi to Mexican tacos and Indian samosas, we are crossing off some of the world’s most iconic dishes.

🐖🍰 We had the absolute best day out at Tapnell Farm! 🚜🐐

Our lovely residents took a trip to the farm today, and it was nothing but smiles, sunshine, and full bellies.

From meeting the goats and sheep to watching the playful animals, everyone loved getting up close and personal with some new furry friends. It's safe to say a few of our residents made some permanent bonds! 🐑❤️

After exploring the farm, we wrapped up the perfect afternoon the only way we know how: with a steaming hot drink and a delicious slice of cake (or two!). ☕️🍰

A massive thank you to the wonderful staff at Tapnell Farm for being so welcoming, and to our incredible team for making this trip so special.

🍹 It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere! 🥂

Forget the fruit juice—this afternoon, we traded in the tea for something with a little more "spirit!" Our residents had a fantastic time at our Homemade Cocktail & Mocktail Happy Hour.
From classic Old Fashioneds to refreshing sparkling mojitos, our "bartenders" (a.k.a. our amazing activities team) were busy shaking, stirring, and garnishing to perfection. There’s nothing like a cold drink and great conversation to kick off the week!

Today’s Top Picks:

• The "Golden Era" Martini: A sophisticated classic.
• Sunset Sippers: Fruity, fizzy, and topped with plenty of umbrellas.
• The Zesty Spritz: A citrusy favorite that had everyone asking for refills.

It wasn't just about the drinks—it was about the music, the laughter, and the wonderful stories shared over a glass. We even had a few residents sharing their secret "pro-tips" for the perfect pour!

🇬🇧 What a Grand Day! Celebrating VE Day at Inglefield 🇬🇧

Yesterday, our home was filled with music, memories, and plenty of tea as we marked VE Day in true vintage style!

🎤 Morning Melodies
We kicked off the celebrations with the incredibly talented John-Paul Miller. He took us on a trip down memory lane, performing all the wartime classics that had us singing along and even tapping our toes! His performance brought so much joy and a few nostalgic tears to our lounge.

☕ An Afternoon Tea Party
The festivities continued into the afternoon with a traditional British Tea Party. Our dining room was a sea of red, white, and blue as we enjoyed the afternoon.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to reflect on history and celebrate the spirit of the day together. A huge thank you to John-Paul Miller for the entertainment and to our wonderful staff for making the day so special!
