Come along for a lovely morning of wagging tails, friendly faces, warm drinks and great company. Whether you’re bringing your four-legged friend or simply popping in to enjoy the atmosphere, everyone is warmly welcome.

A Very Special Send-Off for Tony 💙👶

Today, our Brook House family came together to wish a very special member of our housekeeping team, Tony, all the very best as she begins her maternity leave.

In just a matter of weeks, Tony will be welcoming her precious baby boy into the world, and we couldn’t be more excited for her as she steps into this wonderful new chapter of becoming a mum.

Tony has been such a valued part of our team, always kind, hardworking, and caring, and she will be truly missed while she’s away. We are so grateful for everything she brings to Brook House each day.

From all of us here, we send our warmest wishes for a safe delivery, beautiful cuddles, and many joyful moments with your little one. We can’t wait to meet him! 💙

And Tony… just so you know, we fully expect to see that gorgeous baby boy very soon for a queue of Brook House cuddles! 😉

A special moment for us at Brook House today as our new signage was installed, marking our official transition to Care UK this week.

While our branding is changing, what remains exactly the same is our dedicated team, our warm and welcoming home, and our unwavering commitment to providing the very best care for our residents and their families.

We are proud to become part of the Care UK family and look forward to the opportunities this new chapter will bring to our residents, relatives, and colleagues.

✨ Sous Chef – £15.24 per hour
✨ Customer Relations Manager – £35,000–£40,000 per year

🌸 Green Fingers at Brook House! 🌸

We had a wonderful gardening morning here at Brook House, and it was truly heartwarming to see how involved and enthusiastic our Residents were. There are certainly some very keen gardeners among us!

A special mention goes to Elsie, who shared that she used to make multiple hanging baskets every year, and it certainly showed. She was like a true professional, confidently guiding the activity and helping others create beautiful displays. It was lovely to see her skills shine and her passion for gardening come to life once again.

Of course, not everyone wanted to get their hands dirty ;-) some preferred to watch from a comfortable distance and offer their expert feedback and encouragement, which made the morning even more enjoyable for everyone involved 😉

Gardening is such a joyful activity, it brings people together, sparks wonderful memories, and gives a real sense of achievement. Our Residents took great pride in planting colourful flowers that will brighten our garden in the weeks to come.

Moments like these remind us that hobbies and talents stay with us throughout life, and at Brook House we love creating opportunities for everyone to continue doing the things they enjoy.

Well done to everyone involved, we can’t wait to watch our beautiful hanging baskets grow! 🌺🌿

Eyes down… it’s Bingo time at Brook House! 🎉

Yesterday afternoon our lounge was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement as our wonderful residents gathered for one of their favourite activities, Bingo, hosted by the lovely Dawn.

From carefully marking numbers to celebrating those winning lines, the room was buzzing! It’s moments like these that bring everyone together, creating a real sense of community and joy.

At Brook House, activities like Bingo are about so much more than the game itself, they help keep minds active, encourage social connections, and most importantly, create happy memories shared with friends.

A big thank you to Dawn for leading such a fantastic session, we’re already looking forward to the next one! 😊
