🌿✨ Relaxation, Wellbeing & Gentle Care at LakeView Nursing Home ✨🌿

Yesterday, our residents had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful Massage Therapy Session provided by Anna from Blissful Balance. 💆‍♀️💚

The session offered residents the opportunity to relax and unwind through a variety of gentle treatments, including hand, neck, shoulder, face and head massage. Aromatherapy oils were also available, adding an extra sense of comfort and tranquillity. 🌸🪻

The benefits of massage therapy go far beyond relaxation. These sessions can help to improve circulation, ease muscle tension, reduce anxiety, promote emotional wellbeing, increase flexibility and mobility, and provide comfort for those experiencing stiffness or discomfort. 🌿

It was lovely to see residents visibly relaxing throughout the session, with many commenting on how calm, comfortable and refreshed they felt afterwards. Smiles, positive conversations and expressions of gratitude filled the room as residents shared their experiences with staff and friends. 😊💖

At LakeView Nursing Home, we are committed to supporting not only the physical health of our residents but also their emotional wellbeing. Activities such as massage therapy provide meaningful opportunities for relaxation, comfort and self-care, helping to enhance overall quality of life. 🌟

🌿 Massage Therapy Sessions at LakeView Nursing Home 🌿

We are delighted to introduce Massage Therapy Sessions provided by Anna from Blissful Balance.

These gentle and relaxing sessions are designed specifically to support the wellbeing of older adults and can help to:

• Improve circulation and blood flow
• Relieve muscle tension and discomfort
• Promote relaxation and emotional wellbeing
• Increase flexibility and mobility
• Ease stiffness in the hands, fingers, neck and shoulders
• Provide comfort for those experiencing tingling or numbness

Residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a soothing hand massage, as well as neck, shoulder, face and head massage treatments. Aromatherapy oils may also be used, subject to individual preference and suitability.

Massage therapy can be a wonderful way to encourage relaxation, reduce stress and enhance overall quality of life.

We look forward to welcoming Anna to LakeView Nursing Home and offering our residents this enjoyable and beneficial wellbeing experience.

✨💙 Friday Feelings & a Lovely Escape to Toby Carvery 💙✨

Our residents and team at Lake View Nursing Home enjoyed a wonderful Friday afternoon escape to one of our favourite places – Toby Carvery! 🥰

It was the perfect opportunity to relax, socialise, and enjoy some delicious treats together. Residents indulged in scrumptious Toffee Ice Cream 🍨, mouth-watering Toffee Apple Crumble 🍏, creamy Cappuccinos topped with chocolate sprinkles ☕🍫, smooth Lattes ☕, and many other delightful refreshments that were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

As part of the excitement surrounding the World Cup 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣, we also visited the fan zone to show our support and cheer on our national team. ⚽🏆

🌿✨ Chasing the Last Moments of May ✨🌿

Yesterday at Lake View Nursing Home was a truly lovely, activity-filled day from morning right through to the afternoon 💚

Our wonderful hairdresser Janine was with us for the entire day 💇‍♀️✨ offering her time, care and attention to residents. Everyone had the chance to enjoy a little pampering — fresh haircuts, styling, and relaxing chats that brought plenty of smiles and boosted confidence all around 💕 It felt like a real day of self-care and wellbeing for everyone involved.

Alongside this, our residents took part in a variety of engaging activities throughout the day 🎨🧩☕ From gentle group conversations and creative moments to quiet time together enjoying tea and laughter, there was something for everyone to enjoy at their own pace.

In the afternoon, we also made the most of the beautiful weather with our peaceful stroll along the Trentham Lake Canal 🚶‍♀️🌿 Fresh air, nature, and good company made it a perfect way to enjoy the last gentle days of May.

It was a day full of warmth, connection, and meaningful moments — the kind of day that reminds us how special everyday life at LakeView truly is 🌸

🌞 Another beautiful sunny day at LakeView! 🌿💛

Although it’s a little cooler outside today, the sunshine still makes everything look absolutely beautiful ✨

Our lovely residents are once again enjoying a wonderful day in the home garden and courtyard 🌸🌳 Today has been full of outdoor games, gentle exercises, badminton fun 🏸, and plenty of laughter and smiles 😊

To keep refreshed, everyone has been enjoying delicious ice creams 🍦 and cooling drinks 🍹 while relaxing in the fresh air.

Some of our residents have also been catching up with the latest news in the newspapers 📰, while others are spending precious quality time with their families ❤️ Moments like these truly make every day special at LakeView.
