Last Call for our Summer Solstice Gathering - Saturday evening, June 20th🌞

Just a few days to go, and we still have spaces available if you’d like to join us.

We’ll spend the evening slowing down and enjoying the beauty of the longest day of the year together. 😊

The evening will include gentle movement, a calming sound bath and earthing, meditation around the fire in the cosy orchard, and time for reflection and journaling if you’d like.

Of course, there will be soul-nourishing refreshments too. The plant ally for this event is St John’s Wort, long associated with the energy of the Summer Solstice: abundance, fire, vitality, and fullness of life. 🙏

And as the sun sets, you’ll have the special opportunity to spend time with the horses, a peaceful and meaningful way to anchor your evening intentions.

It’s going to be a very small group, which means a very relaxed, boutique-style experience.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, consider this your gentle nudge. Send us a message if you’d like to join us. Hope to see you then 💚

The garden is alive, fragrant, and full of summer's magic...

And the horses are ready to meet you, exactly as you are…

With their grounding, healing presence, they'll help us come home to ourselves and anchor the intentions we're setting for this Summer Solstice.

🌞 This Saturday 🌞

There are still spaces available, and we would love to welcome you.

If something in your heart is stirring as you read this, send us a message. 💛

While gathering wood for the fire we'll light at Saturday's wellbeing gathering, I came across the tiniest baby shrew. Oh my goodness... so small, so delicate, surely only a few days old. 😍

The little encounter felt like a gentle reminder that wellbeing isn't just about caring for ourselves. It's also about noticing, appreciating, and respecting the life all around us. 💚

Finding a creature so tiny and vulnerable while preparing for our gathering was special, a perfect reminder to slow down, pay attention, and tread a little more gently through the world.

Nature always seems to offer exactly the lesson we need, right when we need it. 🙏

For those joining us on Saturday, come ready to connect... not just with yourselves and each other, but with the beautiful living world around us. 😊 Who knows what small wonders might be waiting to be noticed. ❤️

Ok, I admit it: I am obsessed with flowers 🥰

They just have a way of lifting me up.

And what we surround ourselves with matters… the things we love can shift how we feel more than we realise.

Happy Friday 💚

I had the longest day yesterday 😩

After an emotionally heavy day, I found myself stranded on the side of the road with a sudden flat tire. What followed was a six-hour misadventure. I waited for ages for roadside assistance, sometimes standing in the rain because I didn't feel comfortable staying inside my car on a busy dual carriageway.

When the recovery truck finally arrived, I felt as if I could breathe again; and something beautiful happened...my car was framed by the most spectacular double rainbow. That brought a smile back to my face.

But the journey wasn't over. Because of a misunderstanding with the dispatcher, I was taken to a service station instead of directly to my mechanic. More delays. More uncertainty. More wondering when I would finally get home. 😔

While we were on the phone trying to sort everything out, a distressed man approached us. He was stranded with a flat tire on his van and needed help. Inside the van was a little girl, perhaps seven years old, looking worried and sad. We made eye contact.

Within about 30 minutes, their tire was fixed and they were able to continue their journey. As they left, the little girl turned around to look at me, gave me a shy smile and a small wave.

Oh that simple moment warmed my heart.

And suddenly a thought clearly came to me: maybe the detour wasn't a mistake after all. Maybe the misunderstanding that frustrated me so much was the very thing that placed me where I needed to be, at the exact moment someone else needed help.

And that's when something shifted inside me. My body relaxed. I realised how tense I had been for hours. I stopped fighting what was happening and started accepting things as they were.

Sometimes we only see inconvenience, delay, and disruption. But every now and then, life reminds us that we are part of a much bigger picture...one we can't always understand in the moment.

A flat tire, a double rainbow, and a little girl's smile reminded me of that. 🙏

What if the thing you are resisting right now is leading you somewhere you can't yet see? That’s a question worth sitting with. 💚

Day 7 of my foraging week 🌿

And just like that, we’ve reached the final day of my designated foraging week.

It feels quite fitting that today’s plant is Horsetail, gathered from one of the rested horses’ fields. I couldn’t really finish a week inspired by my horses with a plant called horsetail, could I? 😄

In fact, my interest in herbalism started because of my horses. Over the years, I noticed them self medicating, seeeking out certain plants and seeming to know exactly what they needed. Watching them sparked my curiosity about the medicinal properties of plants, and before long I found myself learning, foraging, and using many of them to support my own health too. 😊

A little about horsetail: it is particularly valued for its high silica content and has traditionally been used to support healthy hair, skin, nails, bones, and connective tissues.

Thank you for following along on my foraging adventure. I hope it has inspired some of you to look a little closer at the plants growing around you.

And as always, go out there and find your own way to connect with nature 🌿 however that looks for you. Your whole being will thank you for it. 😊

It's so easy to get caught up in everything we need to do, looking after others, and ticking things off the endless to-do list... and before we know it, there's very little time left for ourselves.

But time for ourselves really does matter.

The Summer Solstice is fast approaching, and so is our Summer Solstice Wellbeing Event. This is the third year we've held this event, and every year it feels like such a special opportunity to pause, reconnect, and celebrate the season together.

There are still a few spaces available, and we'd truly love to share this experience with you.

Imagine spending time in nature, being gently guided through meditation and reflection, experiencing sound healing, and spending time in the calm, grounding presence of horses as the sun begins to set over the beautiful landscape.

A few hours just for you... to breathe, reset, reflect, and simply be.

If you've been thinking about coming, now is the time to book your place. We'd love to welcome you.

Message me or Claire Marie Doyle directly to book and avoid the Eventbrite fees.

Day 6 of my foraging week 🌿

It’s easy to forget about winter when summer is practically here. With the sunshine returning and everything growing and blooming, the cold days feel far away… but it’s good to be prepared…’cause they will come!

So today’s plant is Ground Ivy, a humble little plant, but a wonderful one to use as a herbal tea to support the respiratory system and help with coughs, colds, and congestion.
It’s also lovely added fresh to salads, with a slightly spicy-aromatic flavour.

Go out there and find your own way to connect with nature 🌿 however that looks for you. Your whole being will thank you for it. 😊

Day 5 of my foraging week 🌿

It's grey and raining today, so I've chosen red clover as plant of the day... my way of bringing a little colour into an otherwise v dull day 🌧️

Beautiful and delicate, I particularly welcome it in my herbal tea selection because it supports us women through the changes of menopause!

Did you know that it contains natural plant compounds that have a gentle oestrogen-like effect and may help ease symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats. 🥵

Go out there and find your own way to connect with nature 🌿 however that looks for you. Your whole being will thank you for it. 😊
