Residents have been busy making little lavender bags using dried lavender from one of our their own gardens. It smelled absolutely amazing!

We decorated the fabric bags using Indian block printing, with bee, flower and leaf stamps, before filling the bags with the fragrant lavender. A lovely, simple summer activity that encouraged lots of conversation about how we could make things and sell them at markets in the future!

Residents kept some of the bags for their bedrooms, we gifted a few to the brilliant care staff on duty that day, and the rest we'll keep as part of one of our brilliant raffle prizes - more on that soon!

Lovely to have Lucy and the Baby & Toddler Group back to Romney House. The room was filled with singing and happy chatter as the children shared musical instruments and props with residents.

These intergenerational visits always bring such warmth and energy into the home

🎵 A very busy week awaits! 🎵

Kicking off tomorrow in Royal Wootton Bassett, where our Bassett Babies class is already fully booked! Thank you to everyone who has booked on. 💜

I’ll then be visiting all of our wonderful venues throughout the week, bringing plenty of music, movement, smiles and fun along the way.

✨ On Thursday and Friday, I’ll also be running our special Intergenerational Sessions in Swindon and Trowbridge. These sessions feature a different set from our usual classes, so why not come along and see me twice in one week? Better still, it’s only £2 to join in!
