It’s been a while….

There’s only 1 certainty in life, that’s death. 💔

I’ve been taking some time to get my head and heart around losing my dear Dad in late April.

He was pretty up there in how to be a damn good human.
A farmer
A patron of the land
Someone who found joy in every single day no matter how dark a day it was
A joker
A smoker! (puffing Billy on his pipe!)
Someone who showed me how to love your partner deeply and humbly ♥️
A valued member of a Cornish community who everyone loved and called a ‘legend’
My dad 🥲

There’s now a void in me, a space in my heart where my mum and dad sit together, I now only have some treasured belongings of theirs, and more importantly the memories and lessons they gave me.
Their energy and spirits I like to think are with me and my girls.

So I’ve returned to teaching yoga, and after a time of reflection and supporting my body, mind and spirit will hope to return to dancing. I’m finding strength in purpose.
But for now moving forwards slowly and being in nature is all I want to do.

Heartfelt thank yous to my friends and loved ones who have been patient with me over the past few months.
I’m bowled over by how the grief process can differ so intensely.

Some of these wonderful beings have been dancing with me for over 16 years, they’ve heard a myriad of music, shared a fair few dance moves and even more memories and special moments.

Shared joy, inclusivity and above all letting loose of inhibitions knowing that if we make a mistake we make it part of the dance ~ ALWAYS! 💃🏼
