Cornwall Food and Drink

Cornwall Food and Drink We're the hub for Cornwall's first class food and drink. Everything we do is about helping food and drink businesses to get ahead. To delight new audiences. Why?

To help build brands. And yes to help them make more money. To employ more people. To be able to pay them better. To train them better. To help make Cornwall’s entire food and drink system tick – louder, faster and longer. It’s our version of sustainability. Since 2016 we've also owned and run the Great Cornish Food Store, next to Waitrose in Truro, the UK's first 100% local independent food and drink store under the same roof as a major supermarket.

Put your thoughts on a future champion for Cornwall's tourism industry across by Sunday 11th January...

Anyone involved in tourism is being invited to take part in a survey to help shape a new, collaborative Destination Management Organisation (DMO) to champion the Duchy’s visitor economy. Food and drink play a vital role in tourism so it is critical that voices from agriculture, fishing, production, processing, hospitality, wholesale and retail are heard.

Following the loss of Visit Cornwall, businesses, tourism-related associations, tourist information centres and local councils are being asked what they want to see from a new DMO and how the organisation should be structured.

Working in partnership with Cornwall Council, the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Economic Forum has appointed a small working group of representatives from the tourism sector to help produce the survey.

Feedback from the survey will be presented during an event at the Eden Project in late January, where industry leaders and sector representatives will come together to discuss the next steps in establishing the new organisation.
