Indian head massage Training

Today we are learning the roots.

There is something so special about sitting with the lineage of Indian Head Massage — understanding where it comes from, who carried it, and why it matters.

Narendra Mehta, a man who was blind, brought this ancient practice from India to the West — and in doing so, gave us something that goes far beyond technique. His sensitivity, his devotion to touch, and his courage to share it with the world is something I find deeply humbling.

This is a practice rooted in family. In mothers and children. In generations of hands and hearts passing something sacred down the line.

That is what we are learning today. Not just how to massage — but how to carry something with meaning. 🌿

Day one of training. ✨

There is something so beautiful about being at the very beginning of something — that moment before the hands know what they know.

Today we started where I always start.

Not with technique.
Not with sequence.

With body permission.

The simple, sacred act of pausing before you connect.

Of letting another person’s body know it is safe before your hands ever arrive.

This is what I teach.

Not just how to work the head —
but how to hold a person whole.

My Body is a Meadow - I cannot wait to read these words by Bethany

In 2015, when I was training in Tula yoga and needed case studies, Bethany offered to be one for me.

In Tula yoga, you are lifted onto the practitioner's feet, arched back, suspended in a weightless space.

There is nowhere to hide.
You must let go of fear, trust completely, find courage in surrender. Connection and trust are everything. Bethany had all of that.

I will always remember that Tula yoga session with Bethany — and what a gift she has for others in demonstrating courage, fearlessness, and determination.

Now a wheel user and writing this incredible book.

No limits, no obstacles

I feel so privileged to have met you, Bethany.

I cannot wait to read My Body is a Meadow.

With love

Natarajasana- The Dancers Pose

The body reaches forward and back
at once —

heart open to what is coming,
foot drawn to what has passed.

This is the pose of grace under tension.

The standing leg, rooted.

The lifted leg, free.
Between them — a conversation
the body already knows.

Dancer asks nothing of you
except this:

trust the tipping point.

That moment when you think you might fall is the moment you learn to fly.

Where in your life are you being asked to trust the tipping point right now? 🌿

Touch is our birthright.

A client recently shared that her father has MND.

I sat back in time. Five years ago — which some days still feels like yesterday — I was caring for my own mother through the same disease.

MND is a disease of the neurons.

Of the nervous system slowly losing its voice.

And yet touch — conscious, present, human touch — speaks directly to that same system.

It says:
you are held
you are safe
you are loved
I am here

I’ll be honest. I was nervous to meet Richard. Afraid his presence might pull up the grief I carry.

But the moment I placed my hands on him, something shifted.

I watched his nervous system soften. His body release.

That particular kind of stillness that tells you — as a bodyworker — that something real just happened.

That you reached someone.
I felt the profound privilege of that. The humility of being trusted with someone so vulnerable.

What an honour to offer this to him.
And then — something unexpected. As his system settled, so did mine. The past stayed in the past.

I felt present. Steady. Strong.
Touch doesn’t just heal the one receiving it.
It heals the giver too.
We are wired for this — for connection, for contact, for the simple profound act of one nervous system saying to another:

I see you. I’m here.

Grief moves through us. Touch helps it along. Give it time.

Held — Women’s Yoga with Evangeline

Three women. One space. Completely held.

And quietly, profoundly empowered.

There is something that happens when women gather in a small, safe space together.

Something shifts.
A strength rises that is soft and unforced — the kind that comes from finally being met exactly where you are.

Every session is bespoke — shaped entirely around what your body and soul are asking for that day. Whatever needs tending to, we tend to it.

We begin by arriving. Slowing the breath, detaching from the day, coming home to yourself.

From there we move — flowing, rooting down and rising up.

Then we rest. A long luxurious savasana with touch, massage and beautiful Neal’s Yard products, leaving you nourished and deeply restored.

Because empowerment doesn’t always look like pushing harder.

Sometimes it looks like finally allowing yourself to be held.

Fancy treating yourself?

Only 3 spaces — intimate by design.
Message me to arrange yours 🤍

With tenderness,
Evangeline

Scorpio Full Moon rising tonight

This intense water moon illuminates hidden truths and stirs deep emotions to the surface.

It’s a powerful time for release and transformation — inviting you to let go of emotional baggage, toxic attachments, old wounds, and especially relationships where you’re out of balance and your energy isn’t being reciprocated.

Think of it as energetic death and rebirth: not a literal ending, but a necessary shedding so something stronger can emerge — like a snake molting its skin or a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Scorpio energy turns pain into power through emotional depth and alchemy. It encourages shadow work, facing fears, and transmuting difficult feelings into wisdom and resilience.

You may feel everything more intensely right now, but this is a gift — it’s clearing space for greater authenticity and self-worth.

The veil feels thinner under this moon, heightening intuition, vivid dreams, and soul-level insight.

It’s an ideal time for meditation, journaling, ritual baths, or simply sitting with your feelings without judgment.

This Full Moon also highlights power and sovereignty:

Where are you giving your power away in one-sided connections?

What boundaries need strengthening?

Feel it all.

Release what no longer serves you.

Trust the transformation — you are evolving into a more empowered version of yourself.

What are you ready to let go of tonight?

The Breath Knows What the Mind Won’t

The room becomes something surreal.

Masks removed.
Soft and vulnerable.
No judgment — just wholeness, self acceptance, forgiveness and a quiet sense of coming home to yourself.

As a body worker, I bring something a little different to this space.

My hands find the belly first — guiding the breath to root downward, into the abdomen, into the parts of us we tuck away.

Away from the noise of the mind and into the body where the truth lives.

I work with the heart space too.

Gently easing the tightness that forms when we’ve spent years protecting ourselves from heartbreak.

Because most of us are holding something there.

We move a little before we begin.
Set intentions.

Learn to find our diaphragm — that extraordinary muscle that sits at the intersection of trust and fear.

Our body’s own emotional beltline.
And then we learn to dance with it.

Held by carefully chosen music, guided into deeper brain waves, we breathe.

This work found me when I needed it most. It helped me feel again.

To stop numbing.
To stop avoiding.
To walk into the darker, more uncomfortable corners of myself — the sadness, the sorrow, the pain — and find my life force waiting on the other side.
The joy.
The pleasure.
The strength.

One space left.

Is it yours?
