Ten years ago to the day, following an extraordinary five-year fundraising appeal, the Highland Children's Unit welcomed its first patients.

Patients, former patients, staff past and present, partners, fundraisers and supporters came together today to celebrate a decade since the unit opened its doors at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The celebration brought together those who played a pivotal role in the unit's development, those who have supported its journey over the past ten years, and those who continue to shape its future.

We have two breast cancer groups that are for people before, during, and after treatment. Every group provides an opportunity to talk to other people who are in a similar situation to you, and to share experiences. They also offer a safe space to express emotions you might not want to share with your friends and family.

Our in-person group meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday, 1:30 - 2:30pm, and our virtual group meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday, 10:30 - 11:30am.

If you would like more information about either of our groups, give us a call on 01463 382900, or just drop in to speak to a member of the team.

In line with NHS Highland the Practice will be closed on Monday 15th June for the Scottish National bank holiday.
