Chippenham Community Hub The Hub is by the community for the community. Finding solutions. We are an independent Charity and rely on funding to support the Community needs.

We always look for support and welcome sponsorship too. We provide primarily signposting to resolve any problems whereby people need to know who to speak with to resolve their issue. We offer support, drop in advice, social inclusion for loneliness and educational courses too. As a Hub we provide facilities for Non-profit Organisations to attend for recreational and wellbeing. We have Chippenham organisations attending weekly like Chippenham Knatty Knitters to give social aspects to the Community. We run courses from the Hub in Employability skills, Basic IT and Personal Finance. We have more coming in the New Year. We work with over 50 organisations we work with and some of these organisations set up regularly in the Hub for contact. We work with Rethink Mental Health, Swan Advocacy, Read-Easy, Fraud Prevention and Wiltshire Sight. We are here to support and operate for the public benefit, help deal with poverty and aid social inclusion. Please pop in for a chat and more information.

A Christmas voucher scheme is set to support hundreds of households

If you're carving pumpkins for Halloween, be sure to take a photo and enter it in our Pumpkin Carving Competition to win house points! There will be 4 winners in each year group with 10 points going to 1st place, 8 points to 2nd place, 6 points to 3rd place and 4 points to 4th place. Every entry helps your House compete for victory!

To enter, upload a photo by scanning the QR code or use the link on class charts. Students must be logged in to their school account to enter.

Stigma rarely sounds like anything big.

It sounds like "I'll sort it myself." "Other people have it worse." "I don't want to be a burden."

Small thoughts, but they add up. And they keep a lot of men quiet for far longer than they need to be.

The more we talk openly about men's mental health, the less power those thoughts have.

“It has helped us settle in properly and made the house feel like a home.”

A recent grant helped a local household with the cost of a cooker, washing machine, bed, mattress and two chests of drawers, everyday essentials that can make a big difference, but aren’t always easy to afford when money is tight.

Are you thinking about Halloween, or October Half-Term, yet?

The popular Pumpkin Patch is returning for 2026. This year, 400 FREE pumpkins will be available in the Market Place for you to choose from and take home to carve, ready for the spooky celebrations.
Pumpkins will be available on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you head down early to pick your perfect pumpkin and avoid disappointment.
