This month at The Richmond Care Home, we’re encouraging everyone to take part in our Juicy June Hydration Challenge! 🌞

Staying hydrated is so important for our health and wellbeing — helping with energy levels, concentration, mood, skin health, and overall wellness. Throughout June, we’ll be finding fun and creative ways to make drinking water more enjoyable for our residents, staff, and families. 💙

From fruity infused waters to healthy snacks and hydration reminders, we’ll be sharing ideas, activities, and tips all month long! 🍋🫐🥒

We’d love for everyone to get involved by sharing:

✨ Healthy summer drinks
✨ Fun ways to stay hydrated

Today at The Richmond we enjoyed a truly wonderful day filled with celebrations, laughter, and sunshine 💜

A very happy birthday to our lovely resident Jackie, and also to our staff member Gina, who both celebrated in style at our beautiful garden party. It was so lovely to see everyone coming together to enjoy the occasion.

A special thank you as well to Richard’s granddaughter, who very kindly sang a selection of songs for us all -her beautiful singing brought so much joy to the afternoon.

We are certainly hoping this glorious weather stays with us a little longer ☀️

Most importantly, we would like to say a huge thank you to our residents’ families for their continued support, and of course to our amazing staff team, who always work so hard behind the scenes to make these special moments happen at The Richmond.

It truly is such a wonderful place to be 💜

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Lynn - Shirley’s daughter for kindly donating beautiful plants and sunflowers for our garden. 🌻🪴

A very special shout out as well to Clare Parks, who worked incredibly hard helping to jet wash the garden and support with all the gardening today. Your help and teamwork made such a difference, and the garden is looking wonderful 🌷🌺🌹

The Richmond Ladies have completed an incredible challenge - conquering the 3 Yorkshire Peaks! 🥾⛰️

In an amazing achievement, they completed the challenge in just under 11 hours! 💪

They are currently collecting sponsorships to help raise money for our Residents Fund, and we honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.

A huge well done and thank you to you all for your determination, teamwork and support ❤️
