Yesterday the Government cut business rates for 32,000 pubs and clubs and named "anti-social businesses, such as v**e shops" as how it'll pay for it.

Six words. No definition. No distinction between a rogue seller and a responsible specialist with a clean compliance record.

Here's what that label ignores: the NHS points smokers to specialist v**e shops for advice. The Cochrane Library finds v**es outperform patches and gum as a quit aid.

And in Essex, a council-run scheme through v**e shops delivered 900+ verified quits and saved over £100,000.

Judge shops on conduct: ownership, stock, age checks, not on the sign above the door.

Today the Government announced a new v**e consultation which aims to change the way v**es are sold... white packs, grey devices, one-word flavours, all hidden behind the counter... to***co-style.

Our take? We BACK tougher rules on where v**es are sold. But va**ng is 95% less harmful than smoking — and 54% of adults already think it's just as bad. Hide v**es and ci******es the same way everywhere, and even more smokers will believe it.

Our answer:
🏪 Convenience shops = plain packs, to***co flavours only, closed cabinets

🔞 Licensed adult-only v**e shops = full range + expert advice

And yes, that takes OUR OWN flavours off convenience shelves. That's how much it matters. 💪
