This isn’t a post to scare anyone but just to emphasise the importance of checking moles or any skin changes.

is the leading UK charity dedicated to the prevention and early detection of skin cancer.
Last year I completed Skcin’s Masced (Melanoma and Skin Cancer early detection) training programme. They have trained thousands of industry professionals like myself with many lives saved as a result.

After recently seeing a Dermatologist as I was concerned about a changing ‘nodule’ on my chest, today a Plastic Surgeon removed the culprit which will be sent away to be tested. I am confident that I acted fast and all will be OK. A scar on my chest is the least of my worries and a reminder to check regularly.

In my treatment room I have seen quite a few cases of moles which appear to have changed shape or other lesions which may look as if they require attention. Clients would prefer to be made aware as left untreated they can spread and in some cases become fatal. One in five develop skin cancer in the UK. Melanoma is the deadliest form of the disease.

One of my favourite photo’s taken where my daughter Eleanor lives in Barcelona. A special place to visit which we regularly do.

Today is another year on this planet and what a privilege it is to be here surrounded by a beautiful family and very special friends. I adore birthdays. It’s a shame the weather today is a shambles but hey it’s January.

I thought I’d introduce myself once again. A Clinical Aromatherapist, Skincare formulator, Holistic facialist, UK partner to and and and an Ambassador for Tropic Skincare.

My life is busy and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I adore what I do and often get asked by my clients “Do you think you’ll ever slow down?” My answer “Definitely not for a very long time!” I’m a year away from a very big birthday number and quite frankly I feel younger, positive and so happy every single day.

I couldn’t juggle my business without the help of my amazing husband Tim.

My 3 beautiful children and their partners bring a smile to my face every day and my friends are always there for me. I feel very lucky.

Here’s to another fabulous year ❤️

The Marie Claire Skin Award was safely delivered to in NYC yesterday.

won the best skin tool at the awards. so deserved and it was fantastic to collect it on behalf of Cecily a couple of weeks ago in London.

It was such a lovely catch up with Cecily seeing her office, beautiful therapy room and her training centre. Gorgeous prints covered the walls collected from all around the world.

We were chilled to the bone walking 20,000 steps in the biting wind but it was wonderful taking in all the magic as Christmas approaches.

I loved today and enjoyed every moment!
The Lymphatic Brush was the winner of the Marie Claire UK Skin awards. It won the best skincare tool created by Cecily Braden.
It was a such a privilege to attend on Cecily’s behalf as her UK distributor to receive this award today at the beautiful Rosewood Hotel in Holborn.

How did I keep quiet for almost a month? It was hard as I wanted to shout out loud!

Huge congratulations to Cecily who works so hard travelling the world training therapists and producing the finest and the best facial tools in the world.

I actually have a trip planned to New York next month and I’ll be able to hand over that precious award.

My daughter Eleanor is home for a week from Barcelona and was my guest for today. My huge thanks and all my love as always for supporting me today and taking fab photos 🩷

I’m so excited to launch my latest new product today.

The inspiration behind Restoring Facial oil was born out of seeing many compromised skin barriers during treatments.

Delving into the fascinating subject of Corneotherapy and introducing the Byonik Pulse Triggered Laser has really changed the way that I look at my holistic treatments from not just the appearance of the skin, but also from a 360 degree approach.

Why is the skin reacting? What is causing the irritation? Gut? Stress? Hormonal? Too many products?

Don’t be fooled by the fake brushes. They aren’t real. They are dupes. They won’t perform lymphatic drainage, in fact they don’t tick any boxes. They are simply rubbish and you are wasting your money.

Cecily Braden created the one and ONLY Lymphatic Brush. In fact 2 brushes, a small and a large. The fraudsters have only managed to copy the small but it wouldn’t surprise me if they create a fake large too.

The images in this post are the REAL ones. You need to look for Cecily Braden’s name which is embossed in the handle. They come with dark cases not clear. The sleeve on the outer packing contains seeds and can be planted (such a lovely touch)

It’s been a week of seeing many different compromised skin barriers in the treatment room including my own flare up.

Rosacea and dermatitis have been prevalent this week. There are many reasons why it appears, from stress, gut issues, environmental but recently stress has been the No 1 contributor for quite a few.

I woke up one morning this week to angry hot inflamed skin. No fun and after being pumped with steroids, having had an MRI and (I’m severely claustrophobia) it’s no wonder that everything presented itself.

Lymphatic brushing is a daily ritual. Something that I could never miss and having done it consistently for the past 2 years the health of my skin is amazing.

Every day I’m seeing incredible results with the Byonik Pulse Triggered laser. This treatment is absolutely amazing in improving the cellular health of the skin so it was my turn to use it and the next day my skin was so much happier. I couldn’t get myself in the Air Bodystyler at the same time! but the results would have been even better with a deep massage too.

Our bodies are incredible machines and I find it fascinating how skin conditions suddenly present themselves but with the right knowledge, the tools, correct products, consistency and a big dose of self care, things can be improved.
