We are delighted to share details of our upcoming FREE Community Dementia Awareness Training, designed for anyone who wants to increase their understanding of dementia and learn practical ways to support those living with the condition.

Whether you're caring for a loved one, working with older adults, employed within health and social care, or simply interested in learning more, this session will provide valuable insights into:

Our residents turned into star bakers today… and the Great British Bake Off may have some serious competition! 😄🍰

We whipped up some mini cheesecakes, and let’s just say there was more “sampling” than strictly necessary along the way… quality control is very important, after all! 👀

Biscuit crumbs may have gone everywhere, a few masterpieces may have looked “uniquely artistic,” but the end result? Absolutely delicious. Well done to all our amazing bakers! 👏

Today we’re shining a spotlight on a key member of our team – our fantastic Maintenance Man, Robin! 🔧
Robin plays a vital role in keeping Bateman House running smoothly day in and day out. From fixing those unexpected issues to making sure everything is safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for everyone, he’s always ready to lend a hand with a smile.
His hard work, dedication, and can-do attitude don’t go unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful to have him as part of our team. 👏
