Wondering what actually happens when your child sits in the big chair? 👀

A children's eye test is much more than just reading letters — and for little ones who can't yet identify letters, we have specialist tests designed just for them.

When watching a solar eclipse, it's really important to protect your eyes. Looking directly at the sun — even briefly — can cause lasting harm to your vision.

To watch safely:
☀️ Wear proper solar eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 safety standard.
☀️ Never use ordinary sunglasses.
☀️ You can also use a pinhole projector to view the eclipse safely.
☀️ If using a telescope, binoculars or camera, make sure it has a proper solar filter.

During a total solar eclipse, you can briefly look without glasses when the Sun is completely covered. Put them back on as soon as the Sun starts to reappear.

Enjoy the eclipse, but remember to protect your eyes 👀

We also hosted our Audiology Open Day, where visitors learned more about hearing health, met our audiology team, and discovered how we can support their hearing care.
