This , Jodie said: “I have a thank you message for the team at Pinderfields who helped assist in the birth of my twin girls, Avery and Aura, on 1 February 2026 - a journey I can only describe as the craziest rollercoaster you could imagine.

"My biggest fear throughout my whole pregnancy was a C‑section and knowing this was likely was really nerve‑wracking for me. After going into labour at 37 weeks, from the moment I arrived in triage to the moment I left with my girls, we were looked after with tremendous care, love and support - more than I could have ever imagined.

"Every doctor, midwife, surgeon and anaesthetist made our experience so magical. A time of uncertainty was filled with happiness, smiles, the calmest environment and the most incredible team. I’d like to thank each and every one of you for helping to safely deliver our beautiful girls and for ensuring their safety, and ours.”

This , Annalise said: “I had my baby girl in July. The midwives I had in that room were absolutely amazing. If I’ve never felt reassurance before, I definitely did in that room. They talked me through every step of the way, explained everything they were doing, and treated me with so much dignity and respect. I never had to question anything because I was kept updated throughout, and I thank them dearly for that.”

On 16 September, Pinderfields Birth Centre will celebrate its 10th birthday, and we'd love your help marking this special milestone.

If your baby was born at Pinderfields Birth Centre we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking for:
👶 Photos of babies born at the birth centre
💬 A few words about your experience or what the birth centre means to you
❤️ Any special memories you'd be happy for us to share

With your permission, we will use some photos and quotes on our social media channels and in local media coverage to help celebrate our anniversary.

💉 Our maternity service offers both drop‑in and bookable Pertussis and RSV vaccination clinics throughout the year, with the Flu vaccine available from September to March.

📍 Please see the graphic below for our latest clinic times and locations.

All clinics are conveniently held within our hospital antenatal settings.
• Pertussis (whooping cough) – available from 16 weeks
• RSV – available from 28 weeks

You can book through your community midwife or drop in to any of the clinics shown.

This , Maisie said: “I just want to say the biggest thank you to my midwife, Providence, who helped us welcome our little girl at Pinderfields Hospital on Sunday the 19th. I went in thinking I would be going to the birth centre, but plans changed and I had to be induced quickly. She was so supportive and made me feel like I could get through anything. She was so kind and lovely, and made me, my partner and my mum feel so at ease throughout it all.

"Couldn’t have wished for a nicer midwife for the birth of our little girl, Marlie Mae – thank you so much!”
