Pop along to the Wakefield Hospice Outwood Fundraising Group’s monthly Coffee Morning for a morning of friendly faces, delicious homemade cakes and beautiful handmade crafts.

Good luck to Ben Nicholson who plays for the Wakefield Trinity PDRL team! 💚

With family and friends, Ben will be running a half marathon from AMT Headingley Stadium the home of Leeds Rhinos to Wakefield Trinity’s DIY Kitchens Stadium ahead of their match on Friday 7th August 2026.

They are running in memory of Ben’s cousin Rebecca who was a life-long fan of the Rhinos, even Rebecca’s Mum and Grandma have got involved.

Last month, we were pleased to welcome Wakefield to Wakefield Hospice for a meeting focused on patient centred and coordinated care. 💚

The event brought together people who use our Wellbeing Services and Bereavement Services, alongside members of the public and colleagues from health and social care organisations across the district.

Through presentations, interactive activities and open discussions, everyone had the opportunity to share experiences and explore how access to care services can continue to improve.
