Some jobs mean a little more than others, and this is definitely one that will stay with me. โค๏ธ
I was contacted by a lovely mum who asked if I could find and tidy the grave of her baby daughter, Rumer, who sadly passed away at just six months old.
When I arrived, the plot was so overgrown that you could barely tell there was a grave there. The grass and weeds had completely taken over and Rumerโs large round memorial stone had no visible lettering left.
I carefully cut everything back, removed the weeds, uncovered the memorial, levelled and tidied the ground and even found some of Rumerโs little ornaments that had become completely hidden beneath the grass. These were all cleaned and put back where they belonged. โค๏ธ
The memorial and little train were cleaned and re-lettered in fresh white, before laying new white gravel.
Rumerโs mum had told me about Rumerโs Rainbow https://www.rumersrainbow.co.uk ๐ and said she would love something colourful around the grave, perhaps a little rainbow fence.
So thatโs exactly what I did. I bought a picket fence and hand-painted it in rainbow colours to give this little resting place the bright, beautiful finish it deserved. ๐โจ

Rumerโs mum very kindly chose to make a donation towards my Tลท Hafan Children's Hospice skydive, which I was genuinely so grateful for. She certainly didn't have to, but the gesture meant a lot to me. โค๏ธ
