Anti-inflammatory choices to promote recovery

07/07/2026

Recovery isn't a spectator sport. 💛

After surgery, all I wanted was to get back to normal as quickly as possible. But healing has a way of teaching patience.

Alongside good nutrition, targeted supplements, hydration and plenty of rest, I've been using bioresonance therapy as part of my own recovery journey.

What many people don't see is the effort behind the scenes. At the moment, I need help to carry out my own therapy sessions, and I have to take regular breaks to make sure my injured hand isn't left hanging down for too long. A 45-minute therapy session can easily stretch into two hours.

Even putting this reel together has been a lesson in patience—it took me almost a week to create using my non-dominant hand!

Recovery isn't passive. It requires time, consistency and a willingness to support your body every step of the way. Some days progress feels frustratingly slow, but every small step forward is still progress.

This reel gives a little insight into one of the tools I'm using to support my recovery and overall wellbeing. While bioresonance isn't a substitute for medical care, it has become a valuable part of my wider recovery plan.

Have you got a recovery story to share?

Recovery is not a spectator sport.👀

Ten days after leaving hospital, my recovery is still very much a work in progress.

While antibiotics were absolutely essential in treating the infection and helping save my thumb, I knew they could have an impact on my sensitive digestive system too. So I threw everything in my arsenal at supporting my recovery: a strict supplement regime, a science-based eating plan, bioresance therapy, plenty of rest, hydration and a healthy dose of patience.🥭🥦

🌿Did I get a free pass? Absolutely not.🌿

Even with all the support strategies in place, my gut still let me know it wasn't entirely happy. That's exactly why I wanted to create this post.

⭐Antibiotics can be life-saving, but many people are never told how to support their gut during and after treatment.⭐

The good news? The gut microbiome is remarkably resilient when given the right support.

Every gut is different, but I hope these simple tips help if you're currently taking antibiotics or recovering from a recent course.

And on a lighter note... this post took me four days to create with my left hand, so if you've made it this far, I'd love to know your thoughts. 😊🌿

Injury, illness, surgery, antibiotics, painkillers, anaesthesia... they're o
these all can place a tremendous burden on the body and stress on the mind.✨
When something unexpected happens, most of us just want to get back to normal as quickly as possible. I know I do.💫
Supporting people on their journey to better health and wellbeing is at the heart of what I do. Yet recovery is rarely as simple as taking a pill and waiting for the magic to happen. It requires patience, consistency, and creating the right conditions for the body to heal.⭐
That's why I've decided to share my own recovery journey.⚡
Not because my injury is extraordinary, but because it reminds us that even a relatively small injury can affect the whole person. 🧡Recovery is rarely linear. It can be frustrating, uncomfortable and unpredictable.😤
Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing the small daily practices I'm using to support my healing and recovery.
I hope it offers some inspiration, encouragement, and perhaps a reminder to be a little kinder to yourself on your own journey. 🧡
