I really enjoy getting to know my clients. When clients come every month I feel like we move through the seasons together. Whether it’s a catch up before I say ‘ take three deep breaths’ and they deeply relax, or if they like to chat during the treatment, it doesn’t matter. A calm space and a pause to reset ❤️ 👣
I’m not always calm as my family would tell you, (they lived with me during menopause!) But, I always feel calm when I step into my treatment room.

A weighted eye mask can be a subtle but powerful addition to a reflexology session because it helps the whole body settle more deeply. The gentle pressure over the eyes encourages the nervous system to shift toward a parasympathetic state—basically the “rest and restore” mode that reflexology is trying to activate. Many people find it enhances the sense of grounding, making it easier to let go of mental chatter and fully tune into the treatment.

After a week off with my oldest client (Mum) which involved lots of shopping trips( great) but I definitely watched too much news. Getting back in the treatment room yesterday brought my focus back to what I can control. It’s always a joy to bring much needed peace and relaxation. I also had my treatment exchange yesterday when I get to enjoy my own heated couch and remember how much I love reflexology. Sleep score last night was the highest since I did an ice bath and sauna a month ago ❤️ 👣

It feels like I have been ‘wintering’ with clients this month, we nestle in a cosy space with soft light and lovely aromas. At 57, it is definitely the best office I have ever worked in😍
