Letters to heaven postbox ❤️🫶

At our family-run funeral home, we believe it's the little things that make the biggest difference.

As a mother and daughter team, we know that every family is unique. That's why we take care of every detail with compassion, dignity, and genuine care, supporting you every step of the way. For us, it's often the smallest gestures that mean the most, because the little things really are the big things.

One of the most special ways we continue to support our families is through our Letters to Heaven Postbox, located outside our Liscard branch.

Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, or simply a day when you want to feel close to someone you miss, you're welcome to leave a letter or card for your loved one.

Our postbox is open to everyone in the community, not just the families we've cared for. It's a quiet place to share your thoughts, your memories, your love, and the words that are still in your heart.

At regular intervals, we hold a private, respectful ritual where every letter is individually blessed before being gently committed to the flames, symbolically sending your love up to Heaven.

It's our privilege to provide this small act of comfort, because we understand that love never ends, and neither should the opportunity to connect with those we hold dear.

💙 Our Letters to Heaven Postbox is available outside our Liscard branch and is accessible for anyone who wishes to use it.

Because sometimes, writing a letter is exactly what the heart needs. 💙

Today Lorraine and Alex received the most beautiful flowers from one of our wonderful families, and it truly meant the world to us. 💐

What made this gesture even more special was knowing that it came from someone who is going through their own grief. It is incredibly humbling to experience someone else’s kindness and thoughtfulness during a time when they themselves are carrying so much.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. The care, compassion and connections we share with our families mean everything to us, and today we felt that love so deeply.

This is another card added to the additional 400 we already have on display, each one sharing so many stories and memories that remind us of the incredible community we are part of.

To the lovely family who sent these flowers — thank you for your kindness, your strength, and for thinking of us. Your gesture touched our hearts more than words can say. 💛

Mother’s Day can be a beautiful day full of love, but for many families it can also be a day of remembering someone deeply missed. 🤍

At our family-run funeral home, we know that a mother’s love never truly leaves us. The memories, the lessons, the quiet moments we shared stay with us always.

Outside our branch, our “Letter to Heaven” post box is there for anyone who would like to write a message to their Mum this Mother’s Day. Whether it’s a thank you, a memory, or simply “I miss you”, you are welcome to stop by and post a letter.

A little poem for all the mums we carry in our hearts:

To Mum, in Heaven

I wrote a little letter,
Though I know you’re far away,
Because my heart still speaks to you
In its own quiet way.

I’d tell you that I miss you,
And the little things you’d do,
The kindness in your laughter
And the love that carried through.

Though I cannot post it where you are,
Or hear your voice again,
I send my love to Heaven
Until the day we meet again.
