Morning everyone,
Weather forecast to be very warm again the remainder of the week, i will still collect all dogs as planned, however walks may be a tad shorter or slower depending on how the dogs are, and how it feels at the time, the weatherman doesn't always get it right, but I'll just see what the day brings!
As you know, the welfare of my dogs always comes first🥰

Dog of the Week🥰

Name: Ben
Nicknames: Benji-man, little legs
Age: almost 13
Breed: chihuahua/Yorkie, (chorkie)
Favourite treat: beef schmacco
Best friend: Luna
Favourite type of walk: sniffy off lead, lazy plod!

Ben is a lovely little dog, he hates going in the van but absolutely loves his walks,
He is a tad nervous of big dogs and sometimes has a little bark at them, and then hides behind me🤣.
When I had my own boy Hamish, (big reactive deerhound mix) I quite often walked him with Ben, they absolutely adored each other and Ben was extra cheeky as he thought he had his own personal bodyguard ❤️🥰

Dog of the Week🥰

Name: Riley
Nicknames: Riley roo, the brown clown, and another one or 2 names that I wouldn't say in polite company 🤣
Age: 5
Breed: Doberman
Favourite treat: anything, he'll eat them all
Best friend: Rauiri or Daisy, loves them both
Favourite type of walk: he loves an off lead run, least fave...a lead walk in the rain🤣

What can I say about Riley?🤔
He's the biggest clown on 4 legs and I absolutely adore him🤣, I've walked him since he was a puppy and apart from him getting bigger...he's never changed🤣 he can be quite boisterous and a little dominant with some dogs ..until he gets to know them well to play, but he is absolutely terrified of my own girl Doja, (for those who don't know, she's a big chunk of a deerhound cross) I walked them together when they were about a year old, and Doj leapt off all 4 legs, about my head height and landed behind him with an inch to spare..he is convinced she's crossed with a kangaroo, and refuses to stand near her since 😁 she's the sweetest girl ever😂
Rileys dad once went home from work and nearly passed out from the smell of gas as he opened his front door, Riley had jumped onto the bench and turned the gas taps on the hob on, so lucky his dad didn't turn the light on, on the way in🤣 he had to build a cover for the hob so he couldn't do it again, he's ate countless TV remotes and other stuff..so his dad has to hide anything important in a safe 🤣😂
Riley is the most loving and affectionate big lump of a dog you could ever wish to meet, if a chihuahua is coming towards us and barks...he has been known to hide behind me😂

Dog of the Week🥰

Name: Digsby
Nicknames:Diggles, Digs, My ginger boy
Age: 8
Breed: fox red Labrador
Favourite treat: chicken
Best friend: Lily
Favourite type of walk: any, loves an off lead run, but equally happy for an on lead sniffy walk!

Digs is a very special boy to me, he's a nervous boy and lots of little dogs seem to attack him, so he's became very scared of strange dogs, but with careful introductions, and the fact he trusts me 100%, I've managed to walk him with some friends,and he's becoming a lot more confident, he adores lily, she makes him feel very safe and he knows that little terrier has his back🤣 if any strange dogs approach, lily pops herself Infront of him, so he can hide behind her😉, he's also very fond of Bess, she's a young lab, but she's a little bit in love with our digs and keeps kissing him as we walk🤣
Digs absolutely loves to play with a ball, and will go and get it, and then stop...10 foot Infront of you and put it on the ground, so he never has to quite go the whole distance....but exercises me too🤣🤣

Dog of the Week🥰

Name: Luna
Nicknames: Loonie
Age: 12
Breed: cocker spaniel
Favourite treat: any
Best friend: maybe Ben, but she loves everyone
Favourite type of walk: sniffy, she used to love zoomies with her 'sister' but since magic went on her next adventures, Luna has slowed down a little

Luna has the waggiest tail I've ever seen, I once said she reminded me of a hippo, because she just wagged her tail none stop,
Magic and Luna were my first full time dogs, and as soon as I met them, I fell in love... They were total opposites, Magic was as feisty as Luna was laid back and sweet (magic was very sweet with people, but could be a little monkey with strange dogs, typical terrier type, but absolutely awesome)
Luna is a muck magnet, if she finds a deep muddy puddle, she plodges straight into the middle of it, and wallows🤣 and she holds so much water, she's like a sponge🤣
She's only just started to slow down a tad recently, she has done high speed zoomies on every walk since I met her..
I remember when she was young, her mam told me, one of the dogs had knocked a bucket of dog treats off the bench, and the lid came off...one of them had eaten ALL the treats! I could tell within a few minutes it was Luna🤣 she was seriously regretting it when I put her lead on her, she really couldn't be bothered to move!
she didn't need the vet, just spent the next day very full and once it was all safely digested...she asked for dinner🤣
