Making memories, sharing smiles and staying active! 🌿🧩🐦💗

Our residents have been enjoying a wonderful range of meaningful activities, from creating birdhouses and completing jigsaws to colouring, doll therapy, and gentle garden walks and maintenance. Each activity brings opportunities for creativity, connection, reminiscence and a little fresh air too. 💕

Our residents had a wonderful time singing along, joining in with colourful pom-poms, and enjoying plenty of laughter and entertainment. From classic tunes to interactive fun, Jackie had everyone engaged and making the most of the afternoon.
It's always lovely to see residents getting involved, sharing smiles, and enjoying time together. Thank you, Jolly Jackie, for bringing so much energy and joy to our home! 🎤🎶💜💙❤️

Our residents have enjoyed a fun-filled evening taking part in a variety of activities today!
From getting creative with colouring beautiful flower pictures 🌺, to keeping minds active with word searches ✏️, and enjoying some friendly competition with a game of dominoes 🎲, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
These activities are a wonderful way to encourage creativity, concentration, social interaction, and plenty of smiles along the way. It's always lovely to see residents engaging in activities they enjoy and sharing time together.
Well done to everyone who took part this evening! 💙

Today, our residents and staff at Highgate took time to reflect on what home means to them.

Through photographs, memories and stories, we shared some truly special moments — from childhood memories and family traditions to the people and places that have made a house feel like home.

At Highgate Lodge Care Home, we believe that great care starts with great teamwork and a commitment to continuous learning. 💙

We’re delighted to see our Deputy Manager, Liz, supporting and training our new Senior, Sachintha, as she settles into her new role. 👏

It’s fantastic to see knowledge and experience being shared, with Liz helping Sachintha build her confidence, develop her leadership skills and continue providing the high standard of care our residents deserve. 🏡❤️
