I have been supporting two women through their cosmeticāsurgery rehabilitation with manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) sessions and it is becoming such a rewarding part of my work. Being with them through those early, delicate days and watching their bodies gradually settle and heal shows me every day how much gentle, attentive care can mean during recovery.
Some of the benefits they have felt are:
šRelief as manual lymphatic drainage eases that heavy, uncomfortable swelling
šThe way tissue begins to feel softer and more at ease with each session
š¶āāļøThe small but important shiftsāmoving more freely, feeling less restricted, and finding a little more comfort each day
šThe trust that grows as they share how theyāre feeling and allow me to support them through each stage
MLD is playing such a supportive role in their healing, but it isnāt only for postāsurgery recovery. It can also be a gentle, nurturing part of someoneās wider health and wellness routine, helping the body feel lighter, calmer, and more balanced.
If youāre curious about how MLD could support you, please drop me a message.
