📢 Important Practice Update

Please be aware that there will be no GP on site at the practice this afternoon as our GPs will be attending Protected Learning Time (PLT).

This is compulsory training required by our Integrated Care Board (ICB) and is an important part of ensuring our clinical team remains up to date.

🏥 The practice will remain open and available for administrative queries this afternoon. However, please be aware that appointments are likely to be in high demand this morning, so they may become limited quickly.

🚨 IMPORTANT PATIENT UPDATE – OUR SYSTEMS ARE CURRENTLY DOWN

We sincerely apologise, but unfortunately our practice systems have gone down again.

This is not an issue within the practice itself, and we are actively liaising with the relevant companies to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. The issue has been escalated as urgent and is being treated as a significant incident.

We completely appreciate how frustrating and disruptive this is for our patients, and we understand that this is not acceptable. We are doing everything we can from our side to get our services back to normal.

📢 BANK HOLIDAY REMINDER 🌸

Just a little reminder that Quinton Practice will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday.

If you need medical support while we are closed, please contact NHS 111. 📞

We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 1st September.

Where is this year going?! 😳 It doesn’t seem five minutes since the last Bank Holiday!

🌟 SYSTEM UPDATE ! 🌟

We’re pleased to say that we believe the system issues have now been resolved, and our systems should be fully ready for Monday. 🤞

Today, we have been working with limited resources through a neighbouring practice to support our patients as much as possible.

We know this hasn’t been ideal, and we really appreciate your understanding, patience and kindness while we’ve worked through what has been a very challenging situation.

❤️ A huge thank you to our staff, who have continued to support patients wherever possible despite the difficulties.

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – OUR SYSTEMS ARE CURRENTLY DOWN

Unfortunately, our practice systems are still completely unavailable, including our online triage system. This means we are currently unable to book appointments or process requests in the usual way.

📞 Please call the practice if you need support. Our staff are doing everything they can to help patients despite the ongoing system outage.

We apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this as quickly as possible.

We unfortunately have a major issue with the Internet at the surgery. This has crashed all our systems. We are doing all we can with our IT team to rectify the situation.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are currently experiencing short staffing levels.

Our team is working hard to support all our patients, but this may mean longer waiting times and delays than usual.
Where possible, please use our online facilities for routine requests, prescriptions, appointment requests and other services. 💻📱 This will help us to manage demand and ensure we can prioritise patients who need urgent support.

We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and courtesy towards our staff while we work through this difficult period. 💙

💉 FLU VACCINATIONS ARE HERE! 🍂🧣

It’s flu vaccination time! Our flu clinics will be starting from 1st October. 🗓️

📅 Saturday 3rd October – Special Flu Clinic
⏰ 9am – 1pm

If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, please book your appointment and help protect yourself and those around you this winter. ❤️

🏠 Housebound patients: We will contact you in due course with arrangements for your vaccination.

🤰 Pregnant women & children: Booking for these groups will open from September.

💉 COVID vaccinations: If COVID vaccinations are available and you are eligible, we will arrange for this to be given at the same time as your flu vaccination where possible.
