A day in the life of , our new Head of Quality & Governance.

Chris might start the morning with a care plan deep dive and end the afternoon sat in one of our services on a walkaround.

In between? An audit, a manager who needs a steer, or a data request that has to be sorted that day.

One thread runs through all of it: making sure the care we provide is safe, and that we can prove it.

Chris audits the things that matter most, like medication and care planning, then checks whether the actions from last time actually stuck.

He holds the regulatory side too, CQC readiness and notifications, and as our Data Protection Officer he looks after data breaches and information requests.

Every week he gives our leadership team a straight read on where the risks are and what's coming, so the people making decisions know what's really happening across our services.

Newly promoted, and clearly just getting started!

Another day enjoying the sunshine β˜€οΈ

This time it was a day out to Evesham Country Park for the people we support, and the team, at Ebenezer House.

Making the most of these sunny days out as Autumn approaches.

Thank you to the team for sharing these great photos.

In his goals and wishes review, MH told us he loves feeding animals. So we sorted him a trip to the farm!

And what amazing pictures MH and the team from Gilburn have shared.

A review's only worth doing if it changes what happens next. MH said what he wanted, and the team made it real. 🩷

πŸŽ‰ 20 Years, 20 Moments πŸŽ‰

Twenty years can bring a lot of change, but some things should never change.

πŸ’™ Putting people first
πŸ’™ Doing what's right, not what's easy
πŸ’™ Supporting better lives
πŸ’™ Looking forward while staying true to our values

These values have guided us from day one and continue to shape everything we do today.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we're looking back at the moments that made us who we are and looking ahead to an exciting future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far. πŸ’™

Follow our 20 Years, 20 Moments journey and celebrate with us.

Yesterday, we were pleased to attend Learning Disability England's Casey Commission Conversation Meeting as part of The Big Conversation on Care.

The conversation highlighted the importance of ensuring that the voices, experiences, and lifelong support needs of people with learning disabilities remain at the heart of future adult social care reform.

At Dignus Group, we believe meaningful change happens when people with lived experience, providers, families, and sector partners come together to shape the future. We welcome the opportunity to contribute to these important discussions and support Learning Disability England and the Casey Commission as this work progresses.

Thank you to everyone involved in facilitating such an open and constructive conversation. We look forward to continuing to engage and play our part in helping create a stronger, more inclusive social care system for the future.

πŸ’™ Meet the Team

As part of our 20 Years, 20 Moments celebration, we'd like to introduce some of the amazing people who make Dignus Group what it is today.

For the past 20 years, our teams have been at the heart of everything we do, helping to create better lives through care, support, dedication and compassion.

This video celebrates the people behind the moments, the relationships they've built, and the difference they make every day.

Thank you to all our teams, past and present, for being part of the Dignus story.

πŸ’™ Here's to 20 years of Brave Decisions. Better Lives.

Always lovely to see AR out and about! Every week he heads off to his sensory room session, and by the look on his face he's having a brilliant time.

It's become a real highlight of his week, and it's lovely to see him enjoying it so much. πŸ’œ

The People we Support and team members from Ebenezer House had a wonderful time visiting Bourton and enjoying sunshine and monster milkshakes!

Congratulations to Linda Denkyiraa at The Old Post Office, our June employee of the month! 🎊

Linda was nominated for stepping up when management support was away from the service, keeping things running and standards high while she did it.

She played a leading role during a recent health and safety inspection too. It was her first time handling a visit like that, and by all accounts she was nervous, but she came through it with positive feedback from the inspector.

Thank you, Linda, for everything you bring to the team at The Old Post Office.

Employee focus πŸ”Ž Allie Calladine, registered manager at Carisbrooke

Allie joined Dignus in March 2026, bringing 18 years of experience in social care with her. Her path into the sector started when she was a teenager, helping her mum and aunts care for her grandmother.

She trained in health and social care, then started work in 2007 as a support worker for adults with autism and learning disabilities. Seventeen years in brain injury rehabilitation followed, helping people rebuild skills and confidence after life-changing injuries. She worked her way up from senior support worker in 2016 to deputy manager in 2018, then registered manager in 2023.

Ask Allie what she loves about the job and she'll tell you no two days are the same. Some days test her problem-solving. Others bring moments worth celebrating.

One moment stands out for her. She supported a man recovering from a brain injury to regain enough strength and confidence to walk his daughter down the aisle. His daughter wrote to thank her afterwards. Allie still thinks about that letter.

At Carisbrooke, she leads a team of more than 60 people from a huge range of backgrounds. What holds them together is one shared goal: helping the people they support live the best lives possible.
