During a two-week period of respite care, Karyn got to know our client and discovered how much she enjoyed watching the birds visiting her new bird feeder.

Knowing this was something she loved, Karyn painted the birds and created a display with their names, helping her recognise the different visitors when they returned. 🎨

Our client, Sally, enjoyed a taster session at White Lodge with her carer, Aleschia. After touring the facilities, she headed to the art room where she explored her creativity through painting.

After one of our clients became unwell, our carer, Vally, remained calm and provided reassurance and support when she was needed most.

Vally later received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt card thanking her for the care, kindness and professionalism she showed during such a frightening experience.

The relationships our carers build with the people they support are at the heart of everything we do, and this thoughtful gesture reflects the difference compassionate care can make.
