Today marks the eve of one of the most sacred periods in the ancient Egyptian calendar – the Epagomenal Days, often called the 'Days Out of Time'.

These five mystical days exist outside the ordinary calendar and celebrate the births of the five great Neteru: Ausar (Osiris), Heru-Ur (Horus the Elder), Set, Aset (Isis) and Nebt-Het (Nephthys). They invite us to pause between endings and beginnings, reflecting on what is ready to be released before stepping into a new cycle with greater clarity and purpose.

This year brings a particularly meaningful alignment, as the Holly Thunder Lúnasa Full Moon falls during the Epagomenal Days, offering a powerful opportunity to illuminate old patterns, strengthen healthy boundaries and transform challenge into wisdom.
