🐝 Bee update 🐝

It’s been a while since our last bee update and wow have we got some good news!

For those of you who don’t know - we sponsor a local bee keeper and provide him with some land to keep his bees. In return we get to learn about this fascinating insect and eat honey! 🍯 😋

Barry our bee keeper has 4 hives at the moment and managed to harvest the honey in August. We were also very privileged to have the experience of getting hands on with the bees to see them in action.
The boys even joined in with their little suits and loved it! 🥰

What an incredible summer it’s been! ☀️✨
So many amazing memories made, special moments shared, and lots to be grateful for. 🥰

The early morning start this morning was a little shock to the system but I’m feeling refreshed, excited and ready for what’s ahead.

I’m looking forward to welcoming all my wonderful existing customers back over the coming months and especially excited to meet some lovely new people too 😀

Hearing loss can be difficult to spot, and often it's family or friends who notice the signs before you do. It can be even harder to recognise if hearing loss only affects one ear, as your other ear may compensate, making changes less obvious.

Some common signs of hearing loss include:
- Frequently asking people to repeat themselves or mishearing what's been said
- Turning up the volume on the TV, radio or headphones more than you used to
- Finding it difficult to hear conversations on the phone or always putting the phone on loudspeaker

Meet Laura!

Laura is a Hearing Aid Dispenser (and Advanced Nurse Practitioner) with over 16 years of healthcare experience both within the NHS and privately. She prides herself in getting to know her patient's, building a good rapport and helping them in the best way she can, tailoring to the needs of the individual and providing personalised care.

Alongside her work she has 2 small boys to keep her busy and is married to Nicholas. Her hobbies include gardening and her allotment, baking with the children and spending time with family and friends.

We’re here! 😀

I’ve really enjoyed spending the last few days with my boys. It reminded me that when the daily grind isn’t pulling you in a hundred different directions, you get to appreciate the little moments that matter most 🥰

The work will always be there, but they won’t be this age forever. Feeling grateful for the time we’ve had together. ❤️
