We are currently experiencing a high number of absences in the clinical team and we have a lower capacity than normal.
Where possible please seek advice and treatment from the Pharmacies in the first instance. You maybe directed to 111, Minor Injuries or A&E for care & treatment, please only contact the surgery if it is vitally important.
You may have a longer wait than normal for a response.
During this time repeat prescription requests will be actioned as normal.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our drop-in blood clinics. We have listened and as of the 1st April all blood appointments will be pre-bookable, 5 days a week, 8am – 10.30am.

New way to request an appointment at the Avenue Surgery - you can now do it online through our website!!

The quickest and easiest way to order your repeat prescription is online, either through the NHS app or via our website, all can be done at a time that suits you from the comfort of your own home!

If you can’t access the NHS app or our website, we are still happily taking repeat prescription requests at the front desk in the Surgery.
All we ask is that you know the medication you are requesting, either bring the medication box with you or write down the exact name of the medication and dose from your prescription.
Our friendly team at the reception desk will then load your request directly onto the system

Please remember to give us 5 working days to process your repeat prescription request

We are testing some new ways of contacting us next week - mainly a new online portal. Also our reception team will take your details and then a clinical team member will triage your case and be in contact with you as appropriate.

We have taken a high number of enquiries regarding Covid Vaccinations, we are not offering these at the Avenue Surgery, if you are eligible please call the National Booking service on 119 to book your Covid Vaccination. Or see the dates and time of the walk in clinics at Warminster Civic Centre on Fridays in Oct, Nov and Dec.

We are offering Flu Vaccinations at the surgery, if you are eligible for a flu vaccine you should have received an invite. Please book online via your invite, call or pop in to the surgery to book your flu vaccine.
