A little honesty post...
As of today, I'm coming off the Treatwell Marketplace.
I don't think many people realise there's a difference between booking through my own booking link and booking through the Treatwell app.
If you click the booking link on my page, social media, or any of my adverts, I pay 0% marketplace commission.
If you book through the Treatwell app, Treatwell take a very hefty chunk of the treatment cost. On some appointments, by the time all the fees have been taken, I'm losing close to 40% of the booking value.
To put that into perspective, I had a booking today that blocked out around two hours of my day, and after the fees were taken, it genuinely made me question whether it was worth doing.
I'm incredibly grateful for every single client who books with me, but I'd much rather put that money into better products, training, the salon, and feeding the ever-growing collection of farm animals that seem to appear here on a regular basis.
Going forward, if you'd like to support my business, please use the booking links on my page, Instagram, website, or any of my social media posts rather than the Treatwell app.
I'd also really appreciate it if you could choose Pay at Venue rather than prepaying online wherever possible. Not only does it help keep more of your treatment cost with my business, it also gives me far more flexibility if appointments need adjusting or rearranging.
