As you can see from our evidence we just can't stop them, and why would we want to? Life is better when you 'join in'.

Over the past few weeks at L&M Healthcare Whittle Hall, we have had an exciting programme, full of music and melody, as Ian from Music in Mind, and Debbie from Nordoff Robbins, continued to bring smiles, laughter, a few tears and spontaneous dancing and jigging about.

Wellbeing Lead, David Wycherley said, "Music and Music therapy are bringing about so many magic moments here at Whittle Hall, it really does empower and unlock people and makes everyone feel good".

Friday is RISE day on Ocean One at L&M Healthcare Whittle Hall. Lovely, lively, Louise, our RISE exercise and games coach, skillfully guides us through an hour of, football, cricket, balloon tennis, exercise, hand eye coordination and most importantly, fun and laughter, complete with a picture quiz, and even a gold cup for the winners. This week it was 'jolly hockey sticks'. Let the fun begin.

Jumping July at L&M Healthcare Whittle Hall brought us many musical riches, but none as joyful as these two magnificent ladies of brass. Tina Sax and Helen Minshall are absolute forces of nature. Enthusiasm, musicality, colour and the pure power in both their perfomances. Wellbeing lead Dave Wycherley said "Tina and Helen always deliver, totally engaging shows, that get our residents, their families and colleagues, singing and dancing with a party atmosphere, and me reaching for my inhaler".

Another action packed week of music and inspiration here at L&M Healthcare Whittle Hall. Ian from Music in Mind and Debbie from Nordoff Robbins. Nurturing, engaging, encouraging and enabling, the people we support, their families and colleagues, to embrace music and evoke memories, from our very own, 'soundtrack of life', which we all have. Absolutely magical.
