โ˜€๏ธ July is UV Safety Month โ˜€๏ธ

Warmer weather means more time outdoors, but don't forget to protect your skin from the sun.

The NHS recommends you:
๐Ÿงด Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5-star UVA protection.
๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ Wear sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.
๐Ÿ‘• Cover up with suitable clothing where possible.
๐ŸŒณ Seek shade between 11am and 3pm, when UV rays are strongest.

Remember, sunburn can happen even on cloudy days and increases your risk of skin cancer.

If you notice any changes to a mole or unusual patch of skin, don't ignore itโ€”contact the practice for advice.

Stay safe, stay protected, and enjoy the sunshine!

Understanding Your Test Results on the NHS App ๐Ÿ“ฒ

More patients are now viewing their test results through the NHS App, and we want to help everyone understand what to expect.

๐Ÿ”ŽWhy results may appear before you hear from practices:

Some test results are released automatically to the NHS App. This means you might see them before your GP or clinician has reviewed them. This is completely normal.

๐Ÿ“žWhen to contact the practice:

You donโ€™t need to call us about your results unless we have asked you to.
If anything needs follow up, we will contact you directly.

๐Ÿ‘คWhat you can expect from us:

โœ… Every result is reviewed by a clinician.
โœ… If a result needs action, we will get in touch.
โœ…Not all results require a phone call or appointment.
โœ…Some results may look unfamiliar or technical, this doesnโ€™t mean they are concerning.

โ“Why this matters:
By reducing unnecessary calls, we can keep our phone lines free for patients who need urgent help and ensure everyone receives timely care.

Thank you for using the NHS App and helping us improve access for all patients.
