🥾🥳 THEY'VE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!!! 🥳🥾

What an incredible day! An amazing team from Sandstone Care Group took on 12 miles of the Sandstone Trail and Frodsham Hills to raise money for Dementia UK 💚🩷

There was plenty of laughter, a few sore legs and a whole lot of determination as our team tackled the challenge together. With the sun shining (for most of it!), plenty of water and a few sweet treats to keep everyone going, they set off on a mission to raise awareness of dementia and support a charity that is so close to the hearts of everyone at Sandstone Care ❤️

A huge well done to every single member of the team! 👏 Your fundraising efforts, time and commitment have been amazing, and we couldn't be prouder of you all.

🥾 Sandstone Care Group takes on the Sandstone Trail! 🥾

Tomorrow, Saturday 5th September, team members from across the Sandstone Care Group will be coming together to walk 11 miles through Delamere Forest and Frodsham, taking on the beautiful Sandstone Trail and raising vital funds for Dementia UK 💙

As a care group, we see every day the difference that compassionate, specialist dementia care makes to residents and their families. Dementia UK is a charity close to our hearts, and we’re proud to be supporting its work to help families affected by dementia.

Whether you’re taking part in the walk, fundraising, or simply cheering us on, every contribution will help us make a difference. We’re looking forward to a fantastic day of teamwork, fresh air and shared memories, all while raising money for a cause that means so much to us.

🌸✨ What a lovely week for the residents and team at Birkdale Tower Care Home! ✨🌸

From enjoying the wonderful sights at Southport Flower Show 🌺 to getting creative with arts and crafts 🎨, exploring The Atkinson 🏛️ and having a bit of fun with armchair cycling 🚴‍♀️ — there’s been something for everyone!

It’s fantastic to see the home’s activity programme creating so many opportunities for residents to get involved, enjoy new experiences and, most importantly, have fun together. 💕

Well done to the whole team for another brilliant week! 🌸👏

Our residents at St Helens Hall enjoyed a wonderful coffee morning, taking the opportunity to catch up, share stories and enjoy some quality time together. 🥰

☀️ A sunny trip down memory lane at Oak Springs Care Home! 🌊💛

Their residents on Maple Suite enjoyed a wonderful afternoon reminiscing about summer holidays, seaside adventures and favourite days out from years gone by.

Reminiscence is such a meaningful part of life at Oak Springs. Sharing memories allows their residents to connect with one another, enjoy conversations about their past and bring cherished moments back to life.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the sunshine of those happy memories together. 💕☀️

🌿☀️ A lovely afternoon at The Oaks Nursing Home!

Residents enjoyed a relaxing social in the garden, taking inspiration from this evening’s solar eclipse through bitesize art and a word search, before reminiscing about childhood summer holidays and happy memories of days outdoors.

It’s wonderful to hear how much our residents value these moments together, with comments including “you don’t realise how relaxing it is” and “a lovely way to spend time.” ❤️

Creating opportunities to connect, reminisce and enjoy the outdoors is such an important part of life at The Oaks.

🎶 What a lovely morning at one of our homes, Longridge Hall Care Home! 💐

Their residents enjoyed a wonderful visit from Scottish singer and musician Isobel McNeill and her family, who kindly came along to entertain everyone.

There were bouquets, lots of smiles and a brilliant singalong — what a lovely way to spend the morning! ❤️🎶

A few lovely photos from a recent trip out enjoyed by our residents at Burscough Manor Nursing Home. ☀️

Residents made the most of the beautiful sunshine with a visit to Scarisbrick Marina, where they relaxed with refreshments at the café before enjoying a leisurely stroll along the picturesque canal.

It's wonderful to see our homes creating meaningful moments, encouraging time outdoors, and making the most of the local community. 💜

What a fantastic afternoon at The Oaks Nursing Home's Summer Social! ☀️💙

It was wonderful to see residents, their families and friends, members of the local community, and our dedicated team all coming together to enjoy a lovely summer celebration.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated raffle prizes, and helped make the day such a success. Special thanks to Tony Rowley for providing the entertainment and to Mandy for her delicious homemade cakes! 🎶🍰

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Residents' Comfort Fund, helping to create even more special moments for those who call The Oaks home.

One resident summed up the day perfectly:
"It's just like it used to be in times gone by at village shows." ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make such wonderful memories—we're already looking forward to the next one!

🌸 What a wonderful weekend of summer celebrations! 🌸

Our residents, families and teams had a fantastic time at the Summer Fêtes at both Longridge Hall and Fleetwood Hall Care Home. From delicious food and homemade treats to games, music and plenty of laughter, it was a joy to see everyone coming together to make such special memories.

A huge thank you to our dedicated colleagues, volunteers, families and everyone who supported the events. Your kindness, hard work and community spirit made the weekend such a success.

Here's to creating more moments that bring smiles, connection and happiness to the people who call our homes home. 💚
