UV Safety Month

☀️ July is UV Safety Month ☀️

Warmer weather means more time outdoors, but don't forget to protect your skin from the sun.

The NHS recommends you:
🧴 Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5-star UVA protection.
🕶️ Wear sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.
👕 Cover up with suitable clothing where possible.
🌳 Seek shade between 11am and 3pm, when UV rays are strongest.
Remember, sunburn can happen even on cloudy days and increases your risk of skin cancer.
If you notice any changes to a mole or unusual patch of skin, don't ignore it - contact the practice for advice.

Stay safe, stay protected, and enjoy the sunshine! 🌞

It’s Loneliness Awareness Week 🌍

Loneliness doesn’t always mean being alone — it can be the feeling of being disconnected or unsupported, even when around others. It can impact both our emotional and physical wellbeing, and it’s something many people experience at different times in life.

This week we’re encouraging everyone to reach out, connect, and take small steps toward feeling more supported.

✨ Ideas to connect:

•Say hello to a neighbour
•Catch up with a friend or family member
•Join a local group or activity
•Talk to someone you trust about how you’re feeling

📌 Support is available

If you’d like to find local help and activities to improve wellbeing and reduce feelings of loneliness, visit Living Well Warrington — a free service that connects you to people, communities and services in Warrington:
