Today we welcomed our friends from Hebron Church. We talked about staying safe in the heat 🌞🌞🌞

On Tuesday, a selection of hobbies and activities were provided to test skill and talent! There was painting, Lego, drawing, jigsaws, dominoes, cards and board games 🐍🪜 🎨🖌️

Today we enjoyed talking about what we did for a job - we were all so impressed with the professions and important roles our residents have played.

We also enjoyed a catchphrase quiz whilst cooling down with an ice-cream sandwich 🍨 😋

Did you know that in that in the 1950/60's, patients were given lucazade when they were poorly?! We sampled a little glass to see if it still tasted the same!! The verdict is in and everyone agreed...it’s still very tasty and sweet!

Today we welcomed children from Happy Bees Childcare who brought lots of fun, activities and treats to share with us!

We made model lions 🦁 sang nursery rhymes 🎶 and played catch ⚽️🏀

It was a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine, watching the different generations mixing together ☀️❤️

NB: We had around 10 kids in attendance - but can’t show them all for confidentiality. Thank you again to Sarah and Emma for bringing them all to Arlington House 👏
