Not every aesthetics treatment needs to dramatically change the way you look.

For this lovely client, the goal was simple: soften the smile lines and create a fresher, more rested appearance while keeping everything natural.

By carefully treating the nasolabial folds, we’ve softened the deeper lines running from the nose towards the mouth without taking away her natural movement, expression or character.

The difference is subtle, but look at the overall effect. Her lower face appears smoother and softer, yet she still looks completely like herself.

This full face treatment was carefully planned to work with her existing features, focusing on areas where volume and structural support had naturally reduced over time.

By treating the face as a whole rather than focusing on one isolated area, we were able to improve balance, soften some of the signs of ageing and create a more supported, refreshed appearance.

The aim was never to dramatically change the way she looks. It was about making small, considered adjustments that complement each other and still feel completely natural.

I love how subtle the overall transformation is — she still looks like herself, just fresher, more balanced and beautifully rejuvenated.

✨ CLINIC LIFE DOESN’T END WHEN THE LAST CLIENT LEAVES ✨

Apparently, I go home after clinic and relax…

Reality? I’m still working — replying to messages, sorting appointments, checking stock, planning content, doing admin, keeping up with training… all while being a mum, wife, chef, taxi driver, referee and finder of everything too.

Running a clinic is so much more than the treatments you see on social media. Behind every appointment is a whole lot happening behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

Some days I’m switching from practitioner to business owner to mum to wife within the space of five minutes!

Busy, slightly chaotic and usually doing 10 things at once… but I wouldn’t change it.

✨ IT’S NOT ABOUT CHOOSING A TREATMENT — IT’S ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ✨

When you come to me, I don’t expect you to know what treatment you need.

I want to know what you see when you look in the mirror, what has changed and, most importantly, what is bothering you.

This lovely lady felt she had lost volume through her cheeks and was becoming increasingly conscious of her jowls. She didn’t come in asking for a certain amount of filler or a particular treatment — she simply wanted to feel fresher and more like herself again.

So we sat down, assessed her face as a whole and looked at where that volume had been lost.

Rather than focusing only on the areas she was concerned about, we created a full-face plan.

Using dermal filler, we carefully restored structure through the cheeks to help create lift and support through the mid and lower face. We then replaced volume in other areas where it had naturally reduced, bringing everything back into balance.

The result is a beautiful full-face transformation, but she still looks completely like herself.

That’s always the goal for me.

You tell me what you’re seeing and how it’s making you feel. Then it’s my job to assess your face, explain your options and create a treatment plan that works for you.

Sometimes the area bothering you isn’t necessarily the area we need to treat. It’s about understanding the face as a whole and knowing where subtle changes can make the biggest difference.

✨ THERE’S A SIDE TO AGEING WE DON’T TALK ABOUT ENOUGH ✨

I see it in clinic more often than you might think.

The woman who looks in the mirror and says…

“I just don’t look like me anymore.”

She doesn’t want to look 25 again. She isn’t trying to erase every line or completely change her face.

She simply misses looking like herself.

Maybe her cheeks have changed. Her jawline feels softer. Her skin isn’t what it used to be. Or she looks tired even when she feels absolutely fine.

And it can be difficult to admit that when we’re constantly told we should simply embrace getting older.

But you can be grateful for getting older and still want to feel confident when you look in the mirror.

For me, aesthetics isn’t about creating a different face.

Sometimes it’s a subtle treatment.
Sometimes it’s improving skin quality.
And sometimes it’s deciding you don’t need anything at all.

The goal isn’t to make you look as young as possible.

It’s to help you look in the mirror and think…

“There I am.”
