Just a reminder see what you can go to pharmacies for and get prescriptions if needed

There have been around 14 million consultations through the pharmacy first service since it launched in February 2024.

You can get treatment for these conditions from your local community pharmacist, including some prescription medicine, if needed – without you seeing a GP.

From this autumn, participating pharmacies will be able to assess and treat 5 additional common conditions:

- migraine in adults
- outer ear infections in adults
- acne in young people and adults
- mild skin infections and scabies
- seasonal allergic rhinitis in children

Women's Health Evening

We are delighted to welcome Dr Sangeetha Steevart, GP Clinical Lead for Warrington, to St Paul of the Cross Church for an informative evening dedicated to women's health.

Dr Steevart will cover a range of important women's health topics, including:

UPDATE:
We just want to say thank you for your patience with the IT issues we are currently having. This outage is across the whole town.
We still have no timescale for getting back up and running so if you don’t have an urgent need please call 111.
We will update again once we know more.

Our network provider has had a major outage at their data centre which is affecting all of Warrington and the whole of Lancashire primary care. This is being worked on as a priority.
We will update you when our systems are back up and running.
