Rocco's provides specialist care for people in the Warrington area with life limiting illnesses and their families. Our aim is to help everyone have the best quality of life by providing care and support in a friendly, relaxed environment. Our care is free at the point of access but it currently costs over £3.6 million a year to run St. Rocco's with only 22% of that amount coming from central sour

ces. We are reliant on the generosity of the local community to help us to continue to care for our patients and their families. Here's what people say about us:

" The staff are lovely, very caring. They are fun too just like friends, showing empathy and understanding......" "All of my visitors commented on the wonderful atmosphere at St. Rocco's. I explained the secret, it's the staff , they are all wonderful....they make a real difference to people's lives and not many people can say that"

"You gave us strength when we felt weak, you gave us love when we felt down and you gave us comfort to make us feel that we could cope…."

A huge thank you to Eve and the wonderful Lymm Crafty Crafters, who have kindly been using their time and talents to support St. Rocco’s 💚

The group has knitted beautiful heart keepsakes for our patients and loved ones, as well as sewn decorative covers for syringe drivers used to provide medication on our inpatient unit ❤️

These thoughtful handmade items are a wonderful example of the care and kindness within our local community.

Recently, our staff and volunteers have come together to enjoy some wonderful mindfulness sessions at St. Rocco’s, led by our Wellbeing and Mindfulness Practitioner, Chris, volunteer Jane, and volunteer Harp Therapist Cathy.

We enjoyed a rejuvenating Qigong (Chi Kung) and mindfulness session that allowed staff and volunteers to support their mental and physical energy, and a music and mindfulness session 💚
